According to Talk Sport the Mirror and a couple of Gooners at work, RVP is a done deal.

Not sure what to make of that, not a priority position that need's filling imo and thge lad has knee's and ankles made of balsa wood.

Stil like the idea of Lucas Moura having researched him on You Tube.

I'm not sure about RVP. I mean he's a great player and would improve the team but I think the money should be spent on a defensive midfielder.

Take rvp away from the gooners style of play and he wont be very good at all.

RVP is a quality player who would be great at United, but..I agree with FM that some sort of holding defensive player is a priority, someone like Tiote would be ideal.

Yeah, they should follow Liverpool's example and use a role model like Gerrard

It was my first united strip, I always wanted to be Lou Macari or Stuart Pearson, lol.

Hadn't noticed the extra stripe, but was planning to buy one next time i'm in the megastore, maybe the black/blue trim one from around 93 also.

Likewise, but Pearson, Buchan or Hill for me

From the United store, with 4 stripes

My other favourite away shirt

Gordon Hill and Coppell - brilliant.

I still fancy one of those replicas, even with the fourth stripe!

Great minds, thats the black/blue strip I meant, 1993-95 according to Chocolates link, so my guess of 93 was spot on.

I'd like to hear the Glazers reasoning to abscond with 50% of the upcoming IPO.

Other than the fact they own the club

He was in manchester last night with a representative from his club and is having a medical today so fingers crossed. Also like the talk of llorente on a free next year and leadownski to sign but stay his club until next year as well. (hope that's how you spell there names)

Looks a very skillful player, though he wouldn't get away with some of those in the PL

I can't help but feel that there is going to be a shock departure or even two Nani could be one and if the rumors of more signings are to be true then I could well see another out the door as in Anderson.

Just to add though, I wouldn't read too much into Moura being in Manchester as the whole squad will be there for their next game at OT. That's not to say the above is wrong.

Aaron
