Rooney has not looked anywhere near the player he was in the past 18-24 months imho, he was on the bench for that very reason on Saturday, you know SAF is building the team around RVP.

Anyone else think Van Persie is both trying too hard to impress today or that's it's all about the RVP show. Good finish for the goal but the penalty was very arrogant given the score at the time..
But a hatrick was nice He's definitely in the peak of his career.

Although it's an amazing feat, and you'll be fooked when he leaves I'd have thought Madrid have won their league and champions league more times in the 25 years? even having a different manager nearly every year

I'd put my house on that being utter horse5hit, sadly, but I would welcome it with open arms .
As much as I was unhappy with Ronaldo for orchestrating his departure to RM, at least he was up front.
You wil notice I rarely mention our No10 by his name, usualy call him the little ****, due to his behaviour 2 years ago. I said at the time Fergie would flog him, I'm surprised he is still there tbh, if he does stay he would be the only player that ever f*cked with Fergie and survived.
3 points is good against what should be the toughest other team in the group. But hardly convincing, and no way we'd get past the better teams playing like that.
