RIP Tony Gubba, dies after a short illness

Grew up on his commentaries amongst others, also a big red was Gubbs, I think it was the FA Cup final against Everton in 85, he wasn't working that day but managed to get in with the togs behind the goal, there was footage of him falling off his camping stool when Norman Whiteside hit his wonder goal .

Your telling me! 10 hour round trip to see the game, some idiot stood up at the wrong moment so I missed the goal, poor game, good result!
But made all the better by the City and Loserpool results and now being 15 points clear.

I wonder if Chicharito starts, usually does well against Chelsea (scores), and with Rooney rested at the weekend maybe we'll start with 3 strikers ?

Looking forward to it all the same, hopefully the poor Chelsea turn up and not the good Chelsea

For sure it was special and they deserved the win
Would have been nice to bring home both the cup and the premiership

Mancini claims that Utd don't deserve to be 15 points in front.

"So they deserve to stay at the top. But not by 15 points. It's not a true table."

It's not a true table? Wtf? Feeble on every level.

I'm not sure if Mancini quite meant it that way.I got the feeling he was trying to say that if you look at both squads(maybe inc Chelsea's in this as well)that they are a lot closer in ability that what the table shows.

There is no way with the squads Man City and Chelsea have they should be so far behind

If that was his point then there is one conclusion you would have to jump to. You'd have to question the manager's performance in that case. I agree about the relative merits of the squads . . . on paper. But the togetherness of the Utd set up has been the deciding factor this season. City have looked disjointed at times and looked like they were playing for themselves and not he badge.

There is no team ethic at City just individuality.

Good game last night I thought, I think we were unlucky not to get the 3 points.

Any suggestions ?

I have a sneaky feeling he might hand the reigns over this summer, unless one more pop at the Champions League is calling him.

Mourinho and Ronaldo ? You never know.......

Have heard that a few times but I'm not sure what to believe anymore. I saw that Ronaldo put out a tweet saying he can't wait to be back in a United shirt next season, which was quickly taken down so it could of been a hacker, but it would be brilliant if it was true.

first thing is he may hand over the reigns with fergie moved up into directors and watching mourinho funny at that game against real how well he treated the united supporters tbh id quite like him at united i hope he dosnt go bk to chelski and puts 2 fingers up at abramovich after the way he was treated but could be worse if he ended up at the council estate
