It is possible some details may appear next week, as it's Apple's WWDC (WorldWide Developers Conference). There is talk of most, if not all of the computer line-up getting a refresh, certainly Mac Pro and MacBooks / Air's. iOS 6 will also be mentioned, and its possible the new iPhone might ship with iOS 6, but that's a pretty tight deadline if we're looking at the September / October release timeframe.
I'm not sure about the headphone socket on the bottom, as said by others, it would mean the phone is upside down for most, otherwise, even with a right angled connector, it wouldn't really sit properly in a pocket the right way up, that would be an aesthetics type thing, and I think we all know Apple is about things looking good.
Smaller dock connector is possible, could shave a few mm off the case thickness, might be micro-USB, or whatever the new European standard for phone connection / chargers is, but that's a bit of a change, and I'd expect a mini to dock connector adapter so existing dock cables can be used, otherwise it's yet another cable you'll need, and Apple hasn't changed their dock cables for a while
Slightly bigger screen has been mentioned, going for a true 16:9 size, about 4" or slightly over. Key point here for developers is that the resolution does not change, otherwise it is yet another resolution that would have to be supported. Some information states that this should not be the case, iPhone retina assets will work.
Given that no-one was really given a heads up about the retina iPad, I doubt we'd hear about this kind of thing at WWDC, probably two weeks from the phone launching

If indeed that is the shape of iphone 5 to come, a larger handset and 4"+ screen, then a few people here will be eating their own words as a few have said that the iPhone 4's 3.5" screen is a perfect size and was pointless having larger screens/handset. Chances are it probably won't work unless you hold it a certain way.

I know. Absolutely pathetic.
I don't care what brand it is, why would anyone get excited over a piece of plastic?
It is quite obviously a deliberate leak to keep people from buying something from the competition.
There was a guy on the gadget show a couple of weeks back that camped outside an Apple store for 9 days FFS! Where do these people come from?
It is a piece of tech that is a little bit 'flashier' than the previous example and one that will obsolete in the next 12 months.
9 sodding days. Get a life you tool!

I doubt the guy that camps out for 9 days actually has any friends to visit down the pub and brag. More likely he'll rush home and video himself unwrapping it and post it on youtube.
I hope they do away with the mechanical home button. The one on my '4' hardly works now.

I actually place my phone in my pocket upside down, so that the lock button and headphone connector is facing down. When i use headphones i have to place it in my pocket the right way up, which feels so un natural to me!
