Just happened upon this as a favourite in my browser, three years ago so thought I would check in.

Well, started doing weights, converted my man shed to a mini gym, hit 18 st 1

That was just under a month ago, now back to 16.13, all be it with a bit more muscle than previously.

Last time I got down to 15.10 but the holiday to the States, a week and a bit back home and then going back working out there for a few weeks put paid to it, going to Mexico in a few weeks, all inclusive so will no doubt lapse but need to get back at it when I return and not go back to old habits.

How are the rest of the SN fat fighters doing ?

Wow! A blast from the past! Your sense of humour is missed. How have you got on with writing your novel?

No, not done anything, life gets in the way, as well as laziness.

Make time for exercise; it can always be fitted in somehow.

I have been off carbs (100%) for the last two weeks, - think it is making a big difference

Yeah, am trying to fit in exercise but I had tendonitis for a week followed by a bloody cold.

I am getting in my shed gym every other night for an hour and hopefully will manage to actually cycle to work over the next couple of weeks, can go for ages and do three or more days a week on it, then can go two weeks where I dont get chance.

Sounds like you're still doing a fair bit.
I'm mostly surfing at the moment. Not convinced it's a proper workout but it's fun.

Its very physical, suspect it uses a lot of energy.
