Might have to give the first three a viewing next week Tempted by the bluray set as it's so cheap, but I hardly ever watch them now having seen them so many times over the years, so it would really be a waste of £15 or so. Can I resist

'How do I get out of this chicken $h!t outfit ?'

I pray Colonial Marines doesn't end up being a crippled console port on the PC.

That Dark Star looked epic - I had to wikki it for the connection but wow!

Is Prometheus going to be available in normal 2D? Going to watch it on Friday but all my local cinemas are only showing it in poxy 3D. I don't fancy sitting there for 2 hours wearing stupid glasses. I KNOW ITS NOT REAL. I DON'T NEED TO BE TRICKED JUST TO ENJOY THE FILM MORE!

No, it reads that I don't like watching films in 3d. All about money with you isn't it.

Well, I watched the first 1hr 45 mins of it then had to rush out as I got a call from my sons nursery to say that he had a temperature and needed picking up asap!

Luckily he is ok but I am still none the wiser to what happens at the end!
I must have looked like a complete nutter leaving the film so late in. So now I have to wait for it to come out on DVD!

Unless someone can point me in the direction of an cough 'other' cough copy???

This was a big moment in our house! We had only seen the rottie version before and the film just did not work fast forward to the blue ray special edition and we were very pleasantly surprised, the film makes much more sense and should of been the final cut I can see why the director fell out with Fox over it.

I still like the original William Gibson script with Newt & Hicks surviving, but it has been many years since I read it

I did miss the scene with the rottie but agree the film was better
