There has been many suggestions at what I do for a living ..... Trolley Collector at Sainsburys, School Caretaker, Nuclear Scientist - doesn't bother me one jot -

Back on topic - hands up how many people want Blair, Brown and Darling back - real heavyweights in the economic and political arena? WOW!! thats a lot of hands .... going to take a long time to count!!!

Instead, we have the Eton Boyz - never done a real days work in their lives, never gone hungry or had to do without, silver spoons and mummies apron strings to hang onto ..... trying to run the country?

Judging from his Wikipedia page, I do not get the impression that Blair ever went hungry.

Interestingly enough though, the only reference to his work as a lawyer between education and politics is:

"He appears in a number of reported cases, for example as in Nethermere (St Neots) Ltd v Gardiner[20] where he represented employers unsuccessfully in an attempt to deny female factory workers holiday pay."

Socialism at its best then.

Ahh bless.

All you have left of the empire that created the highest UK debt levels in recorded history is a slippery weasel (Ed *****) and a lisping geekoid (Milliband). Imagine them on the world stage, it would be a international embrassament.

Good to see you back Pete!

Well I have to say that this lot are at least as disappointing as the last load of plonkers. No we certainly dont want them back either, they got us into the big financial mess in the first place.

I think that Cameron has shown himself to be virtually useless as a leader, he has no bottle whatsoever when it comes to dealing with the foreign leaders who want to tell us how to live our lives. I believe now that he is part of the big plot to get us all into an Eu led federation and that is why he has broken the promises he made in order to get elected. Shameful performance!

I can only think as do many these days that the modern politicians see a vast increase of personal power and very nicely paid jobs with little true responsibility as a reward for creating an Eu federation followed eventually by a World Government! It is just possible that David Davis might have been a much better, and even honest leader!

When we do get another election, if they have not managed to do away with them by then, I can only see UKIP as a party to vote for since at least they want us out of the Eu.

Or so they SAY.

I remember that they stood for election to the European Parliament saying that, if elected, they would accept no expenses and do their best to derail it.

Since then, apart from the disgraceful speeech by Farage, have you seen ANY evidence of any of the above?

In fact THEIR noses are as firmly in the trough that is EU politics as the rest of them.......

Don't trust ANY politicians, Les, what they say and what they do is poles apart.

Oh, and as regards doing as Europe and big businesses say, just watch the directorships they get when they are out of office.......

I dont disagree with your opinion in general when it comes to the whole lot of them.

I suppose I am guilty of looking for any way out of the Eu.

Judging by Nigel Farage's performance on QT last night, he really is no better, just full of sound bites and rhetoric.

Completely out of touch - and I told you that to vote Tory would result in disaster!!

Even good old Les, the old Tory, is wondering what he did voting for the Tories!!

I can hear you shouting now, "Please, Brown, Blair and Darling - come back, NOW!" ... well, I've got news for all you ex-Tories ... it's too late and YOU are to blame!!
You are a forum spoiling buffoon.

Aren't they all though?

Did you see Cameron on the Andrew Marr show this morning?
