You don't have to be Sorry bud.
its not the best in the world,
I am still running a top mount, and I am trying to get as much air flowing over it as I can
The large ones that you can buy don't have the ribs in and start to flap at high speeds
so I made this
there are so many people say it looks good, But I think most of them are just been nice,
But it is large for a reason.
good on you for been honest

Some rather nice cars here!
Black seems to be the popular colour!
Done a wee mod on an STi intercooler this weekend, which will get fitted with some future upgrades later this year hopefully!
I used radiator paint so hope it wont affect temps too much?...
Thoughts?...

Good job you cant see the rest of the car just now!!
Thank you though!!
Black Hawk, as you requested... a couple pics thru the scoop
The top of the lettering is obscured a bit by the splitter on the undertray, I may modify is slightly to expose more... its kinda cheap and flimsy tin anyway!!

Here's some of the evolution of mine, show me yours,...
soon after purchase, new (with power upgrade ((dont ask))), Jan06.
Only mod at this point being DIY fog covers,
now with the prodrive rep wheels (hated the colour), zero sports carbon spoiler lifters, front lip, and the quest for more Bhp has begun...
Wheels colour changed to a VW anthrasite and Matt lacquer, suspension revisions begin,
After much pressure to change my marmite spoiler lifters I went for the 06> STi look, a rear diffuser, and carbon mirrors.
A mate purchased a set of second hand rims, they arived in Rota boxes, in one box was a Rota leaflet, and that's why I now have Rota's.
zunspor lower grillet, a set of tinted headlamp covers and DIY No: plate delete to complete the dark look.
Following the suspension set up I realised I did actually need more brake performance so went for the K-sport 8 pots and 356mm rotas, soon upgraded to EBC blue stuff pads.
And how she is today, (for now atleast).
Decided to try spoilerless and de-badged,
DIY RB320 additional front lip and ditched the diy n/s fog lamp cover for a Ht autos item.
C'mon lets see em,..
