Great race!
Nice to see the new rules have taken away red bulls advantage.

Alonso leading the championship. Never thought that would happen after seeing their pace in testing.
Looks set to be an exciting year

In all fairness, luck had nothnig to do with it. They played their card perfectly and made no mistakes.

You make your own in F1!

Yeah OK, but it was more to do with Alonso than the car

The vultures have you now and will never let go so just shrug it off and move on. If you ignore them long enough they will get bored eventually and move on to someone else.

Make your mind up!

You are being unfair. They are very sensible with the adverts and don't show any at all while the racing is being shown.

I think you will be very surprised and pretty pleased the first time you watch it.

You also might quite enjoy the superior choice of other channels to watch as well.

You have to admit that you laid yourself wide open with you original posts. You in fact were the first to start running people down about their driving ability in the rain.

I am sure it would be pretty entertaining for us all to watch you trying to get an F1 car around the track in the driving rain where you could not see anything worthwhile in front of you because of the spray while you were trying to cope with the aquaplaning at the time!

The race itself is covered very well but with Brundle and Crofty, it was always going to be.
What I dislike is the pre race show. It is so bloody boring, especially Damon Hill. I think from now on, I will just switch the tv on 10 minutes before the start.

Georgie Thompson doesn't belong in F1. She is not interested when Davidson is explaining a qualifying lap or when things get slightly technical. I swear I saw her eyes glaze over on Sunday.

Good idea having a very long pre race show, but I would rather they cut it down to just 45 minutes, judging on their last two performances.

Well I found it interesting to watch the 3 practices and I find that Hill and Brundle work well enough together anyway. They are highly experienced of course and we profit from that when they are explaining various facts and also the tricky bits of the circuits.

It all depends on one's personal interests of course, maybe my own previous experience give me a different outlook to it all.

Anyway, as you say, you don't have to watch the bits that you find boring.

well my skys just been installed so ill see how the next race goes.

but i have sky at my work, and my comment was more to do with all the other channels with ludicrous amounts of adverts. im a documantry fan and im lucky to get 11-14 mins of actual tv veiwing before a sometimes 4-5min spread of total sh*te repeated adverts.
and i whittle my hours away flicked through the hundreds of channels everyday mate - its largley tosh lol
dont know how many saturday nights been looking for a decent movie ect and get oceans 12 for the 300th time in a row.

that said ive just bought it - mostly for the f1 i must add, but ill still watch eden then eden+1

ive seen the f1 adverts (ironicly lol) and the f1 coverage does look very impressive imo - and im sure i will love
good to know you find it impressive though, im sure that means it makes for good veiwing

Hey Jef you'l get all Sky+ savvy very quickly. Even if watching something live its Sky+'d - you can watch an hour long show 15 mins late, x30 through the ads and catch up before the end

Yes, you may enjoy watching the BBC highlights programme on the Sky channel. Paying twice to watch what you would have had anyway!

ah ha! thanks for the hint mate.

really could just let what i want to watch play, and then go back after and watch?
is there not something where you can do that and totally remove ads?

ive got 2 sky+ boxes, what kindof storage will i have on each, not in giga/mega/superduper bites please i cant relate that to real time - but as in hours of programmes if you know mate.

cheers, any other hints/tips that may be blindingly obvious to most but very likley ill not know about.

also with regards to hd veiwing - my tv has HD, but to actually watch something in hd is it just a case of puttin on an hd programme and it all sorts itself out? or do i need to "activate" anything?

and finally is there a channel i can watch just now to see how good it is/isnt or similar?

sorry for the hi-jack - any answers appreciated

Are you sure they actually did that? All the replays I saw were Sky's own.

Yes. It still shows on EPG. It says "The Malaysian Grand Prix: Highlights. (20:00 - 21:30) Highlights from Sepang of the Malaysian Grand Prix are presented by Jake Humphrey"

You obviously have not read them all then.

Not much point in whingeing just for the sake of it however.

I wonder why you felt you had to pass that remark anyway, what were you trying to prove?
