Arf's day out!
Well, like any ship's captain, I'm only as good as my crew.
Our Andrew built that particular engine, him and Rob share them in turn.
We have a house rule. He who machines the parts, cleans the parts and then builds the engine. It's basically HIS engine, which ensures continuity.

From: Enginetuner Plymouth for 4wd RR Mapping Apexi Ecutek Alcatek Proper Garage More than just a laptop!
, but as this car has already been dyno'd at Surrey Rolling Road on it's old spec to within .4bhp of what it made here, I can assure you it's on the money I have the graphs available if you'd like to see them

Torque was 520lbft.
That's fantastic result!
I'm feeling the loneliness now having only ever had just over 400 bhp and currently NO car LOL.
I'm due a visit in the near future to the land of the best cornish pasties when I find the right car!
You will be entering TOTB Arf?
Rob

I never quite understand what you're trying to imply Rob

good to see the gtx coming out of its shell and doing the figures
will be a good time on the strip with that power
just got home, from the very very long trip.but to say it was worth it is an understatement.i carnt thank martyn enough for the full day he spent on the car making it drive the way it does, and everyone else at enginetuner for making me so welcome.i gotta say though i went through quite a few swetty moments as my car sat there on the rollers revving its ballocks off time and time again to get it just right.but it sailed through and then took me 300miles back home problem free.all i can say now is roll on easter weekend so i can see how she fairs at york raceway with some of that q16 race fuel pumping through her.

after all previous niggles you now have a cracking car with a "different turbo" to the norm, time for some fast timesGood man, no need for these low boost setting when your right foot can dictate the acceleration
I will try but my car has been off the road for a while due to haed gasket problems. I'm sure I will make a effort for me and you to go side by side
I noticed a picture by enginetuner of a rear spoiler saying " a view most people will see" I have never seen a rear spoiler on your car on a quarter day

Just looking closely at the graph, tryna understand all this dyno malarchy as mines getting mapped soon.
Why is there such a big difference between air temp and inlet temp? 11degrees from what i can see.. Would that not affect the figures or is that normal?
Can someone explain it to me please? Thanks
Eddy
