Just a note the ace have asked for no convoys from the cafe as its not something they want this year.

 

That's fine Iain, speaking to Guv earlier we were planning to avoid anyway as we thought it would be too busy

 

So are we meting somewhere and at what time to convoy up together ?

I had call and e-mail from Darren Williams from Ace Cafe details below:

"Hi
Just to clarify after some confusion all Clubs attending InCarNation Brighton Sunday 29th April 2012.

Ace will not refuse or exclude entry to any person or club wishing to attend, all I ask is that any club wanting to use a gazebo as part of their stand, the gazebo needs to be set up by 9.30am, there is no time limit for club cars to be on site.

The Limit of 20 cars has been lifted any club wishing to display more cars I will require this information by Thursday 19th April."

This information comes from the horses mouth so we can take it as gospel .

Excellent news as this mean we don't have to get up at the Butt crack of dawn and as long as the weather good we should be all ok

We will aim to get to Brighton for around 9.30AM leaving around 8.30am from either Beaconsfield Services or from the Indian Summer in Denham (Whichever is easier), i'm sure we will find the Ace convoy on the way down....

Confirmed meeting point, route and timing will be posted up nearer the time.

 

I am interested, as Ruislip Tyers mentioned to me (forgot his name), its M340RTG still glittering, pls put my name in as SCAN

Same thing guys will prob meet on the route or see you down there, as I'm travelling down with some S14's that I had to put on the Fueltopia stand, I know you wouldn't want a couple of old bashed up Datsuns on the MSOC stand with you guys?

I'm doubtful now, car has had a new battery and is idling very very low to the point car almost cuts out. Will see if I can get it checked out/sorted on Sat otherwise I'm out.

Have I read correctly that club members can turn up later in the day to their club stands in Brighton, or is it case that they must all be there at 9.30am???

 

I'm out, I still haven't got to the bottom of my stalling problem and can't risk the journey with the problem still there
