Toyo's are massively over-rated IMO... much better tyres for similar money - have a look at BF Goodrich gForce Profilers for example. Falken are also OK as are Kumho Ecsta SPTs.... all three of which should be cheaper and are, in my experience, better than T1-Rs

Indeed, Falken 452's are pretty good for a medium budget tyre, have never rated the sessanta's but many here do.
Had Falken 912's on my Pug GTI-6 and they were great on that, but they are more touring oriented, wouldn't be my choice on the scoob.
Haven't yet had a car that suited T1R's, cheese sidewalls, and grip drops off when they wear in my experience.
Have Avon ZV5's on mine atm, came with the wheels, seem okay, but will spend more when I repalce them.

I had falken fk425 on my Ep3 type R and they were much better than the standard tyres (bridgestone) Handling in the wet was amazing and dry grip was immense and great feed back.. I will be trying them on my blobeye when my yokohama run down (Previous owners choice)
(didn't they test the Gt3 on falkens before production?)
Trouble is with tyres its personal choice, whats good for one is not always good for the other.. I hated Goodyear F1's on my Rs 182 but others swear buy them,, Toyos on my RS Turbo ok but grip didn't last & P600 on my Tiger kit car they were ditch finders never again.
In other words we all Drive different and certain tyres work better on certain cars (we will always argue over tyres..)
Look on tyre review
