OK its a Prodrive Style Impreza STI. I did say....

It looks in good condition and its had a rebuild has it? Who did the rebuild? What was teh rebuild spec? Standard or modified.

IMO, a mint of the mint S202 would be about £10K. Can't remember how much Rasher sold his and that was silly mint. There was one on Type RA forum for £8K.

IMO, this is worth more than a UK Prodrive STI but not much. Find a mint UK Prodrive on Pistonheads and add £1K? Theres a starting point. Its rare but not one of the sought after versions.

That white one linked (the only white one I've seen) is only £4K but I'd be stunned if it isn't a lemon. This one looks tidy and as I said I really like Prodrive Style bugs. Sadly I need something a bit more easier on the wallet and am having an Audi A4 Avant.

If running as it should and all is well, anything from £5000 to £6500 depending on the buyer. You need to be careful when posting though on a forum, as I can probably hazard a guess at how much you paid for it in the first place

Engine work was minimul it was brought as a complete working unit and simply dropped in, fitted it myself with a little help lol, runs brilliantly too .... just have my old engine sitting in my garage still lol
tbh probably not going to sell now though, gives me a really good excuse to start putting my own mark on her.

I thought that the original engine was a s202 engine so in effect replaced it for a better engine

The WRX STi Prodrive Style was available in many Conutries. In Germany, it was blue coloured, elsewhere it was also black and silver. 1000 cars were built worldwide. The "PD" has a big rear wing, other side skirts, fog light covers, a Prodrive-grille, front bumpers and a blue speedometer with red hands. In some markets it also had a roof-mounted vent.

that the engine was indeed the correct one for intended vehicle. i would have personally made sure/ number matches etc before shelling out. i would also have realised at that time that something wasnt quite right.

The engine probs was the correct one for intended vehicle, as it was probably this one: https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-par...-only-58k.html (See last 3 posts on that thread)

Bargain of the century ,,, and 3 weeks ago brought the missus a Blobeye UK STI (273Bhp) again for peanuts. there are bargain out there but you have to be patient !

Err you mean you've asked for it to be deleted after being completely rumbled! Scoobynetters are very, very discerning and can usually sniff out anything untoward.

No if i wanted it to be removed then i would have said that i want it removed !!! I am perfectly happy with this staying here!! Dont think at all that this was anything but a genuine mistake and let me assure you i am absolutley gutted that the car isnt an S202 !!!
I am not a scammer etc and have advertised this thread to friends that also have imprezas!!
The simularities between the models can become confussing especially if they are new to this, when i got the car there was limited paper work and after checking manythings including her wet weight the thickness of the glass, antiroll bars, etc i established that she was a S202. I have even been in contact with Fuji Heavy industries in Japan to try and confirm everything. Up until this afternoon i did not know that the JDM Prodrive Style existed. I am only after some friendly advise on what do do now and given the new information that you guys have given where i can find this.

You guys are dicks!!!
They guy obviously made a genuine mistake and instead of offering advice you rip into him!!! Forums like this were set up in order for people to easily share information and thats what oracle came here for!!! Clearly this isnt the best forum to gain information. Im new to it but i think i will be looking elsewhere!!! So why don't the lot of you stop pretending you wouldnt do the same thing if someone told you that your car was something special and go insert one part of yourself into another part!!! For those of you who were actually helpful this obviously isnt aimed at you and I will remember to look for your responsed to any threads I post and not the useless rejects that accompany you on this site. And oracle Im sorry your car isnt what you thought it was but at least you have a reason to keep her!!!!!

That's original, create a new account to slag people off
I'm sure admin will confirm the IP address. You've not really thought this through have you?

Ps the excessive use of exclamation marks is a dead giveaway.
