im only a stones throw away from curborough sprint track, iv been around it before. Would u guys mind if i come and watch?

Im not officially a part of west mids imprezas yet, but i do have an impreza and it would be good to meet a few of you and see some action on the track.

Right a few more details for the day, firstly we still have one outstanding space that I would like to fill for anyone who is interested in running their car? £38 for the day. Up front payment required.

Below is the location of a pub for some drinks and food afterwards for all who are interested. I have not booked a table as of yet, as I'm not sure how many will be coming back, or how many will be eating etc, so if you could please register your interest on here so I can get an idea of numbers to see if it's worth booking or just showing up, depending on how many numbers we get of course.

I have enquired about running the track in the other direction as there is nothing specific in the rules, but I am yet to get a response on this.


Now important stuff... running order! I'm sticking to the list order that I originally made as there's nothing wrong with it and it is a bit varied.

Please know roughly the running order, and be waiting to come on to the track when the person before you is due to come off. On the day I will show where you can wait to run.

Your first time around the track you will have 6 Laps just so you can get a quick idea for what the track is like.

Once everyone has had their 6 laps then we can move on and using the same order we can run 15 laps at a time to ensure that everyone gets their fair time on the track. No more than that. If you want to run less then that is up to you.

Unfortunately Mark, he's decided not to bother with making food as he'd rather chill out during the lunch time. So bring a sandwich lol.

Convoys... no point really it's first thing in the morning, so it's just easier to get everyone to meet at Curborough. But feel free to arrange to convoy up with someone local to you?

So I have had it confirmed that we can run the other way down the track to make things a bit more interesting.



So instead of going clockwise around the top loop, we can go anticlockwise. I can explain this in a bit more detail on the day, but basically the only "bad" thing about this is that you don't have such a run off going in this direction as you would in going the normal direction, so caution is required.

 

This is tomorrow... Let's hope everyone has fuel stupid cretin British public ruining the fun.
