To the OP, the Asus Transformer Prime is out now, it's quad core and the storage is upgradable via microSD cards and has a very durable scratch resistant Gorilla glass screen. This was my first choice, but grew tired of waiting for it last year so got a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10. It's a great device made better after rooting it and installing a custom rom.

Bloody hell, and people laugh about Apples tech release strategy. The prime has only just been released and they're bringing out a better one in a few months?? (obviously trying to steal some thunder from the iPad 3's retina display).

I think they deleted allt he music due to a DRM issue as I was trying to run two ipods with different computers and different music and this was beyond the capabilities of a style over substance company like apple.

Don't see why I did exactly the same thing with both iPods I had when both me and the wife had the nano's I mentioned above. We're they both on the same iTunes account?

That would explain it jack if he had the iPods to sync automatically instead of manually manage music which is how I always have mine set up.

Bearing in mind that I paid someone to sit down all day copying CD's to a computer so we could use the music is was pretty annoying that it was all wiped and I solved the problem by throwing the ipods in a drawer and never using those pieces of crap again. I did actually find one of them the other day so plugged it in to see if it still worked, interestingly enough, no. I would take it back to an apple shop and ask for replacement but i would not use one of those again even if it was free.

I can sympathise with that as I've had similar experiences. The way round is to manage music etc. yourself. Itunes gives you that option. Much better to be in charge than to rely on someone elses interprtation of what you want.

I suspect after his rants he doesn't want to admit ticking one box on iTunes would have sorted his issues!

You even get a warning all content will be wiped. Some people just click 'Yes' without reading.

Wipe or no wipe the product did not have the capability to do its job, thats why I decided to use better products from another company that actually let me do what I wanted.

The DRM on the deivce did not allow me to use the devices how I wanted, nothing else, not user error crappy Apple could not concieve of me wanting two ipods to be used interchageably with different music. Apple believe if they cannot concieve it the user should not be able to do it.

User error for sure. You can have multiple iPods syncing with the same copy of iTunes either completely or partially.

As jack says its entirely possible and very easy. This is basic user error, I did it myself for years with no issues whatsoever.

Why do you find it so hard to accept that an Apple product didn't meet Luan Pra bang needs. No matter what the fanboi's says, clearly it didn't work for him or could not get it to work for him and subsequently found something else that does exactly what he wanted. What's wrong with that? You say that all Apple products "simply justs works" and is easy to use, well it seems not for everyone.

Nothing wrong with that Jon, other than there's no need for hate posts when you can't get a square peg in a round hole. If he'd have posted at the time he would most likely still be a happy customer.

And please stop saying that Apple products just work, i certainly don't. You need to take them out of the packaging sometimes and plug them in.
