I think BC did an improved top mount on the later shocks did they not?

How old are yours?

I've just bought me a present to replace the AST's that have a leak, might get them refurbed and flog them or just sell them as they with the knowledge they need looking at 😉

Can't remember when they introduced top mount, but may be that you have the older design which I'm told knock more.
