Well it's not as bad as the poor service 3G signal I get from O2, now if you really want to get shafted try paying for something you are lucky to receive less than 50% of the time anywhere in South Wales.
Ok I'm not comparing the same fruit here but imagine paying for a product that you can't get for over 50% of the time, now that is shocking.

I will add, your not actually paying for 3G, you are paying for network coverage, thats what all networks say, if you can text or make a call, its coverage.
Though if you are moving to Orange, note that they are replacing all their kit with Huawei kit, google them before you want to put any calls across a network they have access to (more back doors than in a gay bar

Quality sucks and you are paying £21 quid for it, Apple shaft their customers again for something they dont really need (but it is better quality than MP3's, so you can have that
)Tony
Now Tony, I download a 256kbps file from Apple and you make one from CD, why does mine sound better. I don't want, need or have the capacity for anything more than 256kbps.
I can't believe anyone thinks the £21 is somehow a rip off, it's like a Pirate amnesty.

So much for Apple's much fabled "it just works" quality of service....

You are only saying this because you read it in the comments of the page you linked to above anyway. And of course as you read it on the Internet it must be true
Sheep dont need to use 3G

So you mean to tell me that my iPhone tariff doesn't by implication include 3G access? Well that's a bit of a joke then.
If O2 can't get 3G right then how are they going to cope with 4G or whatever the next mobile data standard is going to be? I think they should start with two tin cans and a length of string and see how they go from there.

As for Orange at least you can get 3G access, after all as they say 'Any port in a storm' or 'Any hole is a goal'.

And still he carries on, I know the telly's **** but can't you have a game of monopoly instead.
So, I said "I know pretty much nothing" about something and I also said "not knowing it's full feature set" what's the problem? How's that in any way economical with the truth? I knew a couple of key features, I bleated about them on here when they were announced, I was right, they're great.
I would never take your advice when it comes to formats, sound or video, you've proved your incompetence and ranted about it to anyone like it or not.

LOL .... 256k samples better if they come from master rather than CD... still laughing over how monumentally f**king stupid that thought process is, but that is just it... you don't really understand this stuff... you just read Apple 'propaganda' and regurgitate it! Well as long as it makes you happy

Jack Clark is a really cool guy with no interest in baiting anyone about Apple vs Samsung. See how I just posted something fundamentally untrue... That's you that is!
It certainly is game changing, but it is fast becoming a digital monopoly which is not a good thing for the music industry and will inevitably bring in a whole list of other problems.

Im just laughing at how Jack thinks a lossy media is better than a lossless media
and he is still getting shafted £21 quid by apple for it

Anyway, back to the original topic, I proved apple did that first to its iphone 2/3G owners with iOS4

Of course we could go on about android "hacks" to make ICS run on the S2, thats just bodged software according to Jack, no mention of jail breaking Iphones
so that you can run software on there that apple dont want you to
I do have to say that it doesnt bother me about ICS, ive not had my S2 long (new works phone, replaces my iphone 4), its much nicer than the 4, lighter, better screen, faster etc, the only down side is the lack of built in memory it comes with(out) and the fact I had to replace my sim card as apple use some crappy micro sim

Everyone has to at some point stop supporting hardware, but Tony, Apple do wait until the phone is off the shelves, people are still buying Samsung phones.
I never finished the post that Tony has quoted (as can be seen as it stops mid post) as my Windows netbook froze during entry.
But I didn't bother coming back to it as I don't want to post anymore on these Apple/Android 'debates', tbh life is too short and I've got better things to be getting on with.
We all have our own favourites, we all know we made the best choice; so let's just leave it there shall we? But that's about as likely as the moon being made of cheese.

Please feel free to comment on pretty much anything, but when it comes to formats you've proved your incompetence. My 256kbps files from iTunes do sound better than the 256kbps files I created myself, I've now replaced them.
