Gutted thought we'd heard the last of this scrap heap!

Oh well

Secretly really happy to see this resurrected. Just remember what I said though, never happy

I'm glad you've got all things sorted and this project will be finished. I was genuinely gutted when I read you were throwing the towel in, but didn't have the heart to comment (maybe I knew it was just a little glitch and that you'd soon be back on it!!) Keeping the work/life/project balance right is difficult at the best of times, but it's do-able, even if it takes longer than you'd first thought.

Good luck and take your time, a masterpiece isn't finished overnight and make sure you spend plenty of quality time with the family.

I've re-subscribed to this thread and am looking forward to future updates

I was gutted when I read that you were going to break it after all that hard work and effort, especially when the end is almost in sight. So I am made up than you are continuing and sticking with it. I definitely know how you feel balancing everything too mate. And at points it feels like you're getting no where but when you see it all together and have a drive it'll all be forgotten. (Hope that's the case I when I finish mine anyway ) It'll just take a bit longer, but what's the rush, can't put a time on perfection can ya!

That's great news Ryan.

I was shocked to see the project was getting broken.

I think the whole forum owes a big thank you to Mrs Prodriverules for her understanding and patience.

Best wishes to the whole family.

Thanks Lads,appreciate the kind words

I made a start fitting parts back into the engine bay and boot,I need to start making the new brake lines but I'm short a few unions which are coming tomorrow along with unions to fit the flex fuel sensor into the return line on the CF plate my external setup is mounted on.
I'm also fitting some drybreak connectors onto the PAS lines that go onto the cooler as it will be on show even when the bonnet is down and look trick
I'm loving the new colour,it looks far better again once some parts are in the same picture.
The bulkhead mount battery post landed as well which I'll feed the direct live feed for the starter and keep it tucked out of sight low down on the bulkhead.

It was worth the extra work involved for that colour change buddy
Really allows the parts to stand out

Is that one of Torques own in-line fuel filters you've got fitted there - I've been looking at them but not heard much about them. Is the filter replaceable?

Nice to see some progress

Yes Jon it is ones of Torques, yes the element can be replaced and its designed to be used with meth without issues that some can have with breaking down.

Looks even better in person, the new colour is great and I'm looking forward to seeing my Works Emotion wheels done in a slightly darker shade.

Good progress Ryan.

Little bit of progress, fuel system is now complete with flex sensor all plumbed in and all pro-bolt fitted now it's final fit time, all it requires now is wiring which Tim will take care of on his next visit.
Got the front brake lines finished up,went with a titanium bulkhead drybreak union to go into the cabin area.

I also installed the side bumper retaining brackets which bolt through the inner wing panel which have got Pro-bolt fixings for the final fit.
I'm just waiting on the block to come back now so I can get the new engine built but I will be starting to prep the shell for paint.

Tiny update lol,got the FPR installed along with sensors in the O/S inner wing plus bolted up the mil spec connector with it's little pro-bolt allen key bolts.
Just waiting on the engine block halfs to come back as I want to start the body work on the outside and carry on without disruptions ie building the engine so in other words I'm stalled at the moment!!
