A bit late now but i'll add my input. Your classic looked fecking stunning to start with mate, it was that look that got me into Subaru. Yours has the old 90's rally look about it, basic and hardcore. Its just a shame your going to change all that.

Im with a previous poster, i hate those clip on arch extensions. In a couple of years they'll be seen as chavy.

If i was you i'd either punt it and get a more disposable car to mod or keep it in the forrest green and put all the money into performance mods.

Lets be honest here mate, what hasn't been done a million times in the Subaru scene?

I fully appreciate your point of view Adam and to be fair the car does look very nice as it is but it is also a very good shell to do these's type of mods to given the fact the shell is completely rust free.

I also understand that on certain cars where the arch's have been added it does tend to look a little chavy but that is mainly down to the fact of a lack of other body mods to compliment them,I intend to make the other area's of the body suit the archs thus not making it look chavy[I hope lol].

On the performance side given it has virtually all the suspension upgrades possible and big brakes and a fully forged engine/worked heads I can't think of much other than a whacking great turbo transplant to make it stupid bhp that I could spend money on in that department either

Thanks for the nice comments though fella and I hope you like the outcome

Also will be fitting some more suspension mods like cusco adjustable top mounts I've purchased along with poly bushing the rear subframe when I remove it to paint all the under pinnings.
Looking like great plan Ryan

Finally found 5 mins today so I got the wheels on and arches taped in place to give me a feel for what they look like and I am pretty happy.
Obviously the colours will change on both car and wheels but it did make me feel good and give me a pick up about the car as I haven't had time to even look at her and thought's of breaking have been in my head again.
Here she is any way

I thought the wheels where from a widetrack blob so he'd either need the hub-centrics to convert the PCD or change the hubs - given how much time he's had I wouldn't bank on the latter

I think the wheels looks spot on, sorry about the confusion on the size but if they had been any wider I am not sure they would have sat as well in the arches.

And remove all these silly thoughts about your car and I will see you on the 14th.

No update on work just yet given the enormous amount of work I have going and always seems to be just lately but I have been buying a few more bits
Roll cage
AFP 20G Billet turbo
Mocal Oil cooler
Morrete head lights

Front end will be different to what i first planned,I have a time attack front splitter from Darren at ABW which will moulded into the front bumper and have special cut outs for the arches to fit into.
Also have a rather nice fuel block coming from CDF Racing[Thanks Chris] to go with all the engine bay mods going on.

I plan to spend the next bank holiday on her which will give me 4 straight days to lay the hammer down and get as much work done as possible which I really looking forward to and will be able to put some pics up.

Ryan m8, can you quote me sometime re. converting my 2003 blob to the above look, so fitting arches with spraying, then advising on what i would need to space wheels out.
seriously thinking of doing this instead of going new turbo as its all about how it looks, not power i recon

No worries,I'll have a word with Darren[ABW] about the arches and how much they cost etc,not sure if they do this style of arch though for newage,I think it's the full wide arch kit only but I will check
