No real update but I am now changing the suspension,sold the current BC BR series to buy skullfudges BC ER series so I now have the best BC have to offer for handling.

Been really busy this last few weeks so haven't even pulled the cover off the car for 4 weeks but a little goody landed today courtesy of KrissyB,thanks again mate.
Hoping to have a push this weekend but Ty's spec-c needs my attention as well so we will see.

So no actual work update as Ty's car chewed up saturday and today I had to go up to Alex at Torques UK to drop off some race bike parts I had been painting and we then had a butchers around his track prepared 309 which ate a hour and then we got talking about mine!!
The brake lines were a big part of the conversation as I've never been totally happy about having one type of unions up the front,different at the back and hard lines running through the car soooo as you have probably guessed I now have a full kit to make up lines throughout the car from front to back which is will look much better and put my mind to rest on the matter.
The kit consists off lines [all to made by me] from the master cylinder straight down to the front brakes and off the master cylinder back port to inside car down by drivers seat,at this point it's coupling to a wilwood bias valve and up to the boot area where I will put a bulkhead coupler through the flat boot floor and on the rear brakes.

Next topic of discussion was my favourite addition to the fuel system yet,dry break couplers which not only look the boll0cks but serve a very handy purpose,these's will allow me to remove the inlet manifold with rails,regulator and distribution block without having a drop of fuel spilt given the external system holds a fair drop of fuel this is a good thing!
Also when they land as there being made now I will be having dry breaks in a bulkhead form to put into the boot floor so the system in the boot can also be removed again without spilling fuel.

You've certainly had a very fruitful day there Ryan, having been to Torques myself I have seen what an Aladdin's cave it is.

I would imagine that you were dribbling with excitement.

The quality of their products is top notch and very good value in comparison to the likes of Earls and Goodrich which cost a lot more.

RCM baffled sump landed which has also got return to sump from oil catch can and it just so happens I have the RCM catch tank as well,be rude not to put it to use lol,this weekend will see some graft put into the car after a 5 week break!

I'm a big fan of the drilled bolts like this one,got a fair few for the engine bay as well,this one is titanium with inbuilt magnet and yours for £40+post

Seriously though looking good, some nice new shiny bits and I'm only sorry I didn't pilfer some of them when I was there earlier.

 

Progress was slower than I would have liked this weekend due to having the wrong angle unions for the brakes which meant another visit to Alex@Torques UK but did result in sorting the unions and hose for the return to sump on the oil catch can and I also got some new unions/lines for the turbo oil feed with a little filter to boot!
Anyway first job was to clear out the car and remove the front seats which took a while as there was loads of parts to get boxed up[inside was being used partly as a storage container lol] and then I gave it a hoover out.

Started with fitting the top portion of the new oil feed line and filter to find a need a different union for the head connection due to lack of space so I moved on to finishing the catch can top side hoses,swapped out the crank case breather for nylon braided to match the head ones as well.
Then I started routing the rear brake line onto bias valve which I've mounted by the handbrake coming up through the console and then run the line upto rear seat area which is about as far as I got,had a few things to do up home today and mothers day!

On the front unions I'm going to run the line down to the original inner wing bracket with a 45' turn downwards so I don't have to bend the pipe in a funny angle,on the rear it will be a bulk head coupling through the boot floor and onto a T junction and straight onto the rear brakes.
