Another big thanks to Ross for coming over and lending a hand on my car today!

Silicone inlet coupler turned up from Tim@JTInnovations with inbuilt boss to accept air temp sensor, very well made!

Today went well and we got the engine back in after putting the twin plate clutch on and the car back down on her wheels which was a lovely sight I can tell you, still need to paint the wheels though.
We then got clutch line on[braided] and bleed to check all was ok there which thank god it was.

Next stage was to get the custom FMIC/RAD setup in it's home along with manifold in place and header/PAS tanks roughly where they will be mounted to get all the dash unions needed down on paper so I can get them ordered.

One other job was to cut out the lower centre section of the slam panel as it got err bent lol, will be putting a space frame tube in there.

The inlet is also going to painted now as I've sent it off to have some modifications done

Nice to see you cracked on today, good idea to paint the inlet manifold as personally I'm not a fan of polished inlet manifolds as I've said to you before.

Crutch lol,it's an extendible bonnet holder as the wings aren't fixed in place yet to which the bonnet lifter ball sits

It's similar but in my humble opinion I think this one is better due to the fact it doesn't require any messing with hoses, mount points it just bolts straight in plus it's as efficient with the best till last,it looks way nicer

Rossy boy came over today and fab'd up a little bracket for the FPR to sit on[all brackets will be painted once completed]
Plus I got the tube welded in place on the lower slam panle and the first filler applied for smoothing
I'm very happy now even though it caused more work as the front looks a lot better with added bonus of maximum air flow getting at the FMIC/RAD with no central support bar!

Fluid filler gauge will be replaced with sensor for Toucan when final fit happens as well.

Dude did you get the latest fuel pressure sensor from Tim, as the earlier ones dont seem to like methanol as mine failed.

FYI...

Any FP sensor failures I've been advised of have been replaced without argument once the failed one has been returned.

I no longer sell AEM sensors as they could not categorically state that they were OK with methanol.

Got my **** in gear today and took a trip up to Aber to see Alex at Torques to get some unions sorted, also picked up my new swirl pot from the master of metal that is Bennet cheers chap.
Matt had also done my inlet mods I wanted so I can now get it smoothed up some more and painted, pics to follow on that

I will be finishing up the front end after cutting out the bent box section lower slam panel and welding in the round bar plus getting the manifold/throttle body sorted but after that I'll be a bit stuck until I get the PAS/header tanks back from matt after a few changes being made before I can start final assembly of braided hoses in the bay,I need everything in place so I don't have any hoses rubbing etc
