Got the motor all cleaned up and applied a bit of VHT paint to freshen it up,also removed the front covers ready for cleaning/painting after I decide what colour to do them.
I also need to remove the rocker covers to clean/paint them too but again once I decide what colour, thinking maybe crinkle red but not 100% sure
Removed the water pipes to give them a sand down and repaint and got them back on the motor,I can't really do a lot more as I now need to get my sensors off TimH in preparation for the toucan install,it's a lot easier to get the oil pressure/temp sensors in while there is no ancillaries in the way!
Thanks Tim,if you send the oil pressure and temp with adators one's on down that would be great as I can crack on with putting the motor back together, the other one's won't be needed for a while lol and I can put them on when needed
Even better - I'll drop them in to you on Tuesday...spending tomorrow night near Hay-on-Wye and then driving to Coventry on Tuesday and passing your door

Well there's a stroke of luck!
Look forward to it Tim,will you be in the black beauty?
Excellent...bumper will need some of your tlc in due course as it had a useless "smart repair" at some point and it's peeling. But would be good to get your opinion on the rear bumper colour matching etc
Got the rocker covers removed and painted in matt black to keep with the silver black theme along with painting the cambelt covers in crinkle red.
Also got the crossover pipe installed and carl davey reverse alternator lower bracket on
TimH is dropping by tomorrow to drop in the adaptors/sensors for oil pressure and temperature so I will be able to install them and then get the manifold etc back on.
As I have made the decision to delete the ABS I was contemplating how to go about the conversion as I need to incorporate a bias valve when I stumbled upon this lovely little setup!
Looking very tidy Ryan - I know I have one rocker cover gasket to sort when I swap the turbo and with everything else coming off the top half of my engine may start looking that good - need to sort my cam belt covers though as a couple of the captive nuts have escaped
Keep it going and you'll have it finished by Christmas (2020).
You bringing the foggy to the Prodrive gathering then

Nice set-up, I'm planning to sort all mine on Saturday - would have been this weekend but I'm in Liverpool for a family thing. Should have the calipers sorted and the bias valve mounted under the bonnet to allow for tweaking but not whilst driving

Yes good idea to delete the ABS, I wonder where that came from...
Good progress as well Ryan, it's nice to see you have been a very busy boy this weekend.
I'm probably going to mount my bias valve in the car Jon so I can easily adjust it while driving.
Yes Ty I'll grant you this one my good friend
It's a one time thing though
I'm looking to remote the controls from my PSI3 to the steering wheel so I'll have enough toys to play with in the car. Need to get some pics up too as I've splashed a litre of plasti-dip around the interior with plenty more planned
