Thanks for that Dean it's amazing what's about on the net !
That is the shield that both Ty and Glenn have, I've got the link and to be honest it's not that much new.... either way I think it's the way to go with a shield fitted. I'm getting there now Dean in my mind

Yes agree with you completely Dean
The next thing is I need is a quality cone to go in the foglight with a flexi pipe into the wing.
I had these links posted on another thread for me to check out...

Like below Ty ? I'm not sure if that's the look I am after as I do like the look of the cone as Red has on his tbh. Plus there's the cost of a cover and painting it, it's an ideal job when you require other paintwork but I've just had mine done so missed the freebie boat. I may have a look though to see if there is a cover about in the right colour because at the right price it would be worth giving a go because I could always change it then if I wanted easy enough afterwards. Thanks though as I had not realised it was a wrx cover
This looks ok for the money, says Black/Blue ends... Do u think that means its available with either black or blue ends, or does it mean the pipe is black with blue ends???

Worked very well on my Foggy, it seems the Japs love them on their massive power Supra's, GTR's etc and they have been around a while. Cost does not always mean the best.

I go for the RCM filter because the quality is brilliant and I know the designer, and the principle behind the trumpet section which smoothes out the air flow.

All filters are equal, but some filters are more equal than others.
Let's try again !
Basically I've made a final decision on the exhaust and about ready to order so that parts sorted.
As for induction the other option apart from RCM is to build one from components myself, with some great guidance from someone with a lot more understanding than me I've a few things to check out before making a choice. The air intake links given me seen good gear even when you look on demon tweeks or the other subaru sellers its all near the same so will probably go with the links.
So exhaust, induction and ecutec tweek should turn it into quite a capable drive.

Another 2 days with Parcelforce (you have to pay the customs clearance fee and handling charge before they will release the delivery - they send you a letter requesting payment which you can do over the Internet/phone or go to the Newport PF depot and pay in person and collect your delivery).
Sorry the response is a bit late.
