lol not being a d1ck but does it matter if the skirts and door handle are not colour coded, most people just get them sprayed it doesnt cost that much, my98 has everything colour coded before i bought it, guess the person who owned it befor decided to get them done! looks good though.

Well of you prefer the colour coded look I guess it does matter... Unless after buying an un-colour coded car you dint mind forking out a couple hundred quid extra? My wagon is silver so the black trim bits don't bother me.

Yeah, I have to admit I like the skirts in black on mine as they work with the anthracite wheels I have. I want to put a P1 splitter in black on too...

jason 62: what dumpvalve does it have? Might be safer to put a standard recirculating one on.

Mine now has colour coded everything

If I did it again I'd probably NOT do the rear spats and sideskirts as they do suffer from paint-chipping.

They look nice though:

Been changed a bit since, the wheels are now dark bronze and the front bumper is full facelift.

thanks lads, took me a while to decide how I wanted it to look. thought about Morettes but they dont blend well with the sidelights. Then I thought about carbon bits but dont like the look so I went for the blue/black mean look. The WR's were refurbed in metallic titanium as I didnt want them plain silver or charcoal colour. Still got a few bits to do like a sunstrip etc but i'm happy for now.

TBH Dan, I might sell them. I've changed from 17's to 18's and dont like the handling. I'll get the tyres and suspension sorted 1st then see how it goes but if i'm still not happy by March i'll be looking for some 17's to go on her for the Nurburgring.

ive got MY99 with colour coded skirts n door handles but with black mirrors lol

i found with the std my99/00 bumper if you have the skirts colour coded then the car doesnt look right as the front bumper line is higher than the skirt line.

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...1/DSCF1761.jpg
hence i fitted the v6 sti front lip

Very nice looking car mate, the front lip sets it off perfectly. Love both of those sets of wheels too, they look so right on a classic.

Love it .

That's exactly the look I want to go for, black front lip to match the skirts. I love the wheels too!

PS - How hard was it to fit the roof vent? I've had 4 Sti RA's, and i'm missing having one on the Turbo 2000.

As for the roof vent.... I had to call upon JonMc as he's done quite a few

Have to say the roof vent is the 2nd top mod I've done..... the Jaguar XJ Bi-Xenon Projector headlights being my 1st
