I dont think many people use timers, stay off boost for 5-10 minutes on the morning when driving off and something similar when coming to a stop, I believe thats whats generally done. I had a dump valve on mine but took it off its a personal preference thing some people love then others hate them.

i wouldnt bother with dump valve, they can mes up the running. not everones cup of tea. turbo timer is a waste of time too imo. i have one, never use it. just make sure the last few minutes of your journey are off boost. not good for insurance purposes either.
why not put the money towards a remap.
