Just how bored would you need to be? Also, does that require Flash to play ?

Yes it requires flash. I'm at work getting paid to sit at a computer. May as well have it running in the bottom corner of my screen

Oh well, at least I'm not due for an upgrade until June next year and I now won't be tempted into an early upgrade with all the costs involved.

Yup though some interesting bits coming out, the artificial intelligence bit looks ok, an enhancement on voice recognition, find your friends, old hat, been around for ages on other phones 6 million copies of lion downloaded, like they had a choice but the enhancement to the camera is good, now getting back in there with the rest of the phones as the iphone lacked a bit here and now dual core, so are you say Ant, if you have a 3gs then its worth upgrading, if you have a 4 then its not.

Will also add that there was lots of corporate bs thrown in there, things like "not even consoles have this graphic blab", probably because consoles stopped using that 10 years ago

Tony

Unfortunately they didn't just drop it, they have kicked it into the weeds.

No doubt the 4S is and will be a good phone, but some of the new features won't work on a 4 and there aren't enough improvements within the 4S for 4 users to upgrade.

I can see the forthcoming Google announcement taking on even more importance now, Apple may well being kicking themselves on the 11th.

Agreed, not much of a step up.

3GS users now have a good choice but us 4 users don't really have much motivation to upgrade.

Apple have joined the ranks of companies who improve a little bit and expect everyone to shell out to upgrade. Let's see what the others can do now.

disappointed here

more than 25% of searches on android have been done by voice since 2010, its not as polished as apple and the android voice search works great but ANYONE that sits in a restaurant /bus/taxi/meeting room and talks to there phone in commands will look like a ****.. FACT!

I'm also disapointed, not an apple fan but I was thinking I will consider moving from my Galaxy S2 to an Iphone next year, not a chance I will give up my S2 for this, this puts the Iphone 4s on a par with the S2 at best and i'm not even sure about that, big disapointment, although I guess it will save me some cash

That's my new phone sorted, 64gig and Cloud storage should last me a good few years.

iOS 5 is great on my iPad, setup without iTunes was very simple and restore has worked a charm, just syncing with iTunes via wireless now, and I can use the iPad while it's at doing it. Can't wait for iCloud to be enabled, I'm a sync freak. No Siri though, not sure why, I was expecting that to be available, but maybe an update will arrive.
