ok.......pretty low on torque unfortunetely so may look at getting a bigger turbo in the future,but still the car is very quick and most parts are oe so overall fairly pleased.
319.1bhp/281.3lb ft.
also had the enjoyment of blowing away a porsche on the way home.

i am a little dissapointed in the torque.
it still feels very quick tho.
i think in the future a vf34/48 might be on the cards.

Don't get hung up on figures, if the bum dyno feels okay then that's all that matters.

320bhp is still nice result on yours,i said few times this,bhp and dyno figures are just for pub talk,but main thing is how car feels on road..

my sti5 wagon got 319bhp an 312lbs on a green panel, ngk pfr7s and a walbro fuel pump every thing else standard.

seller got it wrong,its a vf35......
so ive now got hold of a vf48 with 5k on it.
what can i expect with the vf48 over the vf24 i already have mapped?,im hoping for big improvements.

hi mate i got a map with all usual mods on my uk turbo with vf34 an made 334 bhp an 346 lbf ft. hope this encourages you an kicks in at 3k rpm. good luck mate

its a vf48 that will be fitted....not a vf34.
cant find much info on the vf48,but have been told its a great turbo.

i was going to go with 1 of those but wasnt sure what spool up was like but i hope it pushes out the torque for you mate. ive decided to sell my car now as it never ending money pit haha

ive heard that the spool and delivery of the vf48 is very good,not just on a 2.5 but also on a 2ltr.
it should be a massive improvement over the vf24.
