On which model?

The stock roms are poo.. loads of bloatware and usless apps

not tried any of the others... suppose its a case of if it aint broke

Had mine for about 6 weeks now and honestly it's the best phone I've ever had.

I have a question about my S2....If i log on here or other forums via the phone and try and post, the keyboard takes up 97% of the screen and i can not see what i am writing...

Looked through the settings and can not find anything to resolve this.....Anyone know how to resolve this?

I find having it on auto rotation, and flipping it on the side gives me more space to write and see what I've wrote

I've just tried on mine and tbh on FB its better on the side however on forums, keeping it upright gives alot more typing space. Still not brilliant though

pimmo,

i depends on what you want to do? unsigned software, remove all my vodafone bloatware, overclock the cpu, use different kernels and roms. you can root it and keep the stock samsung software like i have done. Invaidates the warranty but you can unroot it and reset the rom changes counter before you need to send it back if it goes **** up.

erm......it does i have had it running. i assume it was darky's. looks a bit like the oxygen rom i have on the htc desire. i stand to be corrected though.

check http://www.darkyrom.com/community/in...e-releases.68/

N.B. ****having read a bit more the rom can look like oxygen or samsung stock, dependant on which launcher you choose at start up****

Handcent is a must, beautiful widgets is still good, bbc iplayer, Vevo, Quidco, Ebay, and if you go on the Samsung market you can get Asphalt 6 free..

Can't decide on the best browser, Opera mini is good but doesn't play flash videos, std browser is ok, plays flash, but is missing some of better user features of Opera. Might give Skyfire another go.

Swype is already installed and is awesome

As a p.s., I've spent the last 2 odd years rooting and installing custom roms on a number of phones to get better UI's and speed them up, this is the first phone I've had where I don't think that's necessary......yet..

Probably you are looking for Applanet.net(on iphone known as Installous),just search for this, not sure if its online or is offline..

Second good alternative is Mobilism Market or Black Mart...
