Just be aware that out patient fees may only have £1000.

Caught me out a few times, while I had lengthy physio on my knee. And later needed my other knee draining of fluid and blood. Probably paid out £500, but nhs would not do it.

I have had three major operations via the NHS, including one for cancer.

The treatment I had was all one could wish for and I was very well treated by the hospital staff as well. No time was wasted in getting the operations done and the aftercare was also of top quality.

Maybe we are lucky in that respect in this part of the country. My mother was in hospital in Surrey and her treatment was truly awful, she was just ignored for ages while the staff were spending their time talking to each other at the reception desk. My mother was unable to do anything for herself at the time. Even took a while for me to get their attention. Mrs Leslie was forced to help to sort my mother out as well, only one nurse was able to tear herself away from their confab at the time!

People in this part of the country hold to the old type of sense of values and believe me that is by far the best too. It is largely all part of consideration for others I reckon.
