See engine wise you're only a front mount behind me... Get a front mount and with the piston work done i expect you'd be ok to get more than I'm running. Think Bob kept it reined in a bit for safety rather than going ***** out when mapping it.
Would be interesting to see tho what power everyone is running on their original turbos for sure

I really need to do my suspension first before anymore power mods.

Lol you know you want a front mount really ;-) I'm running Tein coilovers at the moment, not a bad kit but i need to get it set up right cause at the moment it's just way too bouncy for uk roads :-s
Front mount wise I've got a hyperflow monster on mine, same kit that the litchfields use, and apparently one of the biggest ones you can fit on a hawk. Price wise it ain't cheap, with the air relocation kit to the inner wing it comes in well and truly over a thousand pound :-s but then you pay for what you get is my line of thinking

Pez ur a bad influence and as such I am cancelling my subscription to this thread with immediate effect.
Lol
Ur right I do want a front mount but the coilovers are the next pressing issue. Though about the Tein set up and it's been mixed reviews that I have heard. I have been in a Hawk that has em and they seemed really good. Alot of people say th B & C set is just as good for less money. Not sure which way to go but will have to do more research while saving up for them.

Lol :-D I'm very good at spending offer peoples money that's for sure Lol
Tein are good, once set up but like you I've also heard very mixed reviews about them... The fact Tein offer a full rebuild service must indicate something :-s but as to date I've no issues (touch wood) and Tbh they were already on the car when i brought it so they'll do me until either something breaks or i win the lottery lol

Well, if we're talking uprated internals and a bigger blower, have a look at mine
https://www.scoobynet.com/members-ga...wkeye-sti.html
I suspect the OP is more interested in figures from cars on the Std blower and non forged engines though.

I'm liking both of your twos specs definately the next step for me is some kind of forged build or such like. Get the internals up to scratch ready to handle more power and safely.

Sounds like a sensible idea as i have heard of the pistons giveing issues with relatively low power and then some with high power being solid. When i was buying mine I took it to mean that there was no way to be sure if the pistons could/could not handle the boost without melting. I was lucky enough to be buying a car that had to have the head gasket done so for an extra £1k they put forged pistons and uprated head bolts in. This is the reason that i have done the pistons before as other wise changing the pistons would of been more like £2.5K. When buying a car for £10k + the last thing you want is smoke coming out the back it would make you .

By what I've read on scoobynet it's far from an easy swap, and expensive aswell. I'd just try and get as much as possible out of the 5 speed if you really wanted to add more bhp. I'm no expert, someone would be able to tell you more than me.

Very similar to mine I made a little over 500 at the wheels @1.7 bar

You were told wrong then!
It all depends how the engine is built and what parts it uses. The standard rods are good up to 500bhp (in theory) but if you upgrade pistons, head gaskets, head studs, rods and get the inserts fitted to the block to make it a CDB then it could push 500bhp easily. There are quite a few people running a 2.5 engine well over 500bhp already on here.
All depends how deep your pockets are, but anything is possible.
