I am indeed pal, sold the RS when I seen the STI advertised with a dealer from Burton, will put a few pics up when I get her back from the garage as its having a bottom line kit fitted and other things painted, but its a 2011 STI in Black with the following spec..

Year/Reg: 2011 (11) Mileage: 19,100 Engine size: 2.5L Fuel type: Petrol Gearbox: Manual Body style: Saloon Colour: Black

  1. Engine rebuild inc, lightweight forged pistons, 14 mm crankcase bolt modification , matched arrow conrods ,cosworth headgaskets & bolts, cosworth baffled sump ,, Upgrades - Alcon pro r 365mm front discs with 6 pot calipers, 19 inch prodrive alloys, genuine subaru 340 up grade, Sat nav high fi upgrade, spec c suspension, Cruise control, Alcon pro r 330mm rear discs with 4 pot calipers, Next MOT due 01/06/2016, Last serviced on 12/01/2015 at 18,417 miles, Full service history, Excellent bodywork, Black Part leather interior - Excellent Condition, Tyre condition Excellent, Four wheel-drive, Standard Features - Climate Control, Alarm, Alloy Wheels, Computer, Electric Windows, In Car Entertainment, Upholstery Cloth/Leather. 5 seats, BLACK, high flow oil pump & gallery mods, cosworth baffled sump , modified crank bearings Hayward & Scott exhaust , engine work was done when the car had done 7500 miles . Sat nav systems supplied, Full bottom line kit, (front splitter, side and rear extensions and rear diffuser)
The only reason I went for this one is the work its already had done on the engine, so hopefully I don't need to worry about it going pop, I've had a look at the paper work from Roger Clark and the bills come to over 14k on the engine alone and another 2.5k on the brakes ...

I've had X 3 RS's now and loved them, had the CP400 pack put on two of them and they where one hell of a car and drive, but when I went and test drove the STI, well all I can say is I smiled all the way home, and the RS was sold the next day......

Looking forward to driving it over the summer months now.....

Cheers

Anybody got a list of what all the facelift revisions are for the my11 hatch sti over the previous model. I know of a few such as spec c suspension, steering rack?, different front bumper. Anyone got a definitive list?

Default Which Pads To Use...

So it looks like mine is going to be due new pads all round soon... any views on what work well in the Brembo calipers?

It's my daily drive and gets a little hammer on country/moor roads so like to feel I'm going to stop when sheep jump out in front of me

I was considering staying standard, but would like a little more bite on the pedal, so though of going over to kevlar, but can't make my mind up.

What have any of you put in yours?

Had Pagid and blue stuff in mine. The Pagid are my preference. Better bite and less susceptible to fade. I get my Pagid from Scoobyclinic.

Right so you sold a well mint MY11 STi after about a year or so for for a RSF (crazy man)... then sell that two years later for another MY11

all the depreciation on that lot could have rebuilt the Fabulous MY11 .. twice (if the engine ever went pop.. And you had those fantastic leather seats you had re covered already.

I must say you have ***** lol and a very understanding wife

looking forward to seeing the 'new' car

Hi Phill,

I had the my60 STI for almost 3 years and loved every min of it, but after 3 years I felt it was time for a change, I got very good money for it so didn't lose a penny, I've had X 2 RS's since then and again I didn't lose a penny on either of them I actually made money on one of them so no depreciation at all mate, I don't like to keep a car with more the 30k on the clock so that's one of the reasons I sold the 1st STI and the last RS, the STI I have now has only 19k on the clock and as I will do no more the 1k a year I shall be keeping this one for a few years (I think Lol), will get some pics up when I've had the wheels painted

Cheers

I have seen it, and yes it is gorgeous, doesnt make up for the **** engine and dying community though, compared to the RS he had it was no match performance wise either, unless its wet of course

My pror silencer had fallen apart last year and rattled.

So I've just bought a full stainless Stelel exhaust system with sports cat. Off eBay for tha 2011 saloon. It said £800 or nearest offer. Offered £700 and bought instantly. Wishe I tried £600 first LOL.

I've not had fitted yet but looks ok.

I have just removed my PRO R 340 pack ,centre pipe and back boxes and replaced with an AEM intake , h&s 3 " system and an Andy Forrest Ecutek map and the difference is night and day , its really a delight to drive now
(Obligatory paranoia induced forged build completed a couple of months ago)
An additional 30 bhp and 40 ftlbs torque on top of the (supposed )340 bhp is nothing mind blowing but the way the car responds , drives and feels is outstanding...it put the smile back on my face just like I had the first time i drove a subaru many years ago
The h&s quality is good, customer service was excellent , and its just right on idle and hits just the right tone when driving ... surprisingly refined for a 3 " decat
It makes me realise how poor the PRO R (profoundly rubbish)package really is....

cheers
Matt

Mine was briiliant as 320 R but 340r a nightmare.

The 340r had problems when in sport # but ok in Sport.

I was told issue was with tumbler valve programming

Car produced 341bhp in sport and 299bhp in sport sharp.

I cannot divulge how it was fixed as I signed a confidentiality agreement
