Allan,
The anti-clockwise donuts is due to the weight distribution in the car.... The motor is placed on the rear right hand side of the car.

I noticed with mine that I can get lots of nice oversteer turning anti-clockwise but when turning clockwise the front end washes out and understeers really badly. Might have to rearrange the weight distribution to even it out!!!!

I've just read that back to myself and it seems really sad doesn't it. Assessing under and oversteer on a 5" R/C car

Andy

P.S. Josh, I can get mine to run on normal alkaline batteries with no battery in the turbo and it ran last night for more than an hour without stopping.

Bravo,
The main problem with mine is the small range and the really hard suspension. I might soften it down a bit, make it a bit slower and turn it into a scoobie :P:P:P

Question

AllanP - how did you get your aerial straight? Mine points forward a lot and tends to get caught on chairs etc. Didn't want to bend it in case it snaps.

Cool

Andy, thanks for the technical explanation of why only anti-clockwise dnuts
Was considering having the bump steer mod done to reduce the understeer but I'm concerned about invalidating the warranty

DW, just bend it mate.

Wink

Shouldn't it be 'bent and proud'

I am about to place another order for those who are interested, but would like to make the following points.

Mods including Bump steer, de-cat exhaust sytems, revised brakes/supension and bent aerials will invalidate your warranty. The cars are for fun only, and anyone found taking them seriously will be taken out and shot, thus invalidating their parents warranty. If anyone at my house works out how to read, their decision will be final. Receipts can only be supplied on production of a crisp £50 note.

I was going to make up some silly terms, but thought better of it.
