out and about right now so not gonna do a long post but i can confirm phil stuck to his word and a full refund has been recieved. Great beliver in 2nd chances as i know i.ve had my fair share of them over the years. Benefit of any doubt, all's well that ends well, etc etc. Phil is square with me now so the slate is clean and harmony has been restored. Yes it took too long but give the guy credit for the fact that he came good in the end and was man enough to rectify his mistake.

No I wouldn't, Steve. If I had sold something broken then I would do my upmost to refund or sort out the issue ASAP, not "test the water" and see if it would all blow over

The way i see it is that Phil admitted his mistake but probably doesnt have that kind of cash just hanging about. As soon as he's had the cash he paid up. Bit long coming but it was there in the end. Glad its all sorted

well matty really pleased for you to have your cash back but as said it took way too long , i wasnt trying to put things down for you i was making people aware of other things hes done over the last few months as the more pressure put on him the more chance he will have to pay up ..

and as said further up phil deserves no gratitude or lenuencecy or praise as like its been said hes held out as long as possilbe to see if it would "blow over" so to speak while still buying parts for his rwd corsa project and his other scooby which i know for a fact hes been spending money buying parts.. this should have been his top priority

and as tubby pointed out he probablys wouldnt have if this didnt come up on here. now all there needs to happen is all the other people hes ripped off to step up and make a thread

As I said something like it before, if it was me that sold it and spent the money, the buyer would have to wait for the money as I wouldn't be able to re-fund straight away But then some think that because you own a scooby you have money hidden up your **** for a rainy day. Anyway, good on you for coming up with the cash to repay and well done for getting the money and being that patient I dread to think how frustrating and hard it must of been. Especially with some of the posts on here trying to do a bit baiting up
