The massers do sound great though, I'm not sure I could stomach the depreciation. you right about running costs on a GTR, they do require deep pockets..
GT3 no good for me as i need rear seats and certainly don't fancy a 99x turbo...
M3 will probably stay, it's a damn fine all rounder and a beast when you want to give it the beans.

M3 is a great daily car but do not stir your passon ...that is why I still have my P1 .
, i know I will be going the 997 turbo route when I have the funds as I dont need rear seats

lol...you have own one for awhile as it such a competent car its borders on been boring , mine costed £64k list..... great car though it is , it not the flagship bearer( that belongs to the mighty M5 ).
Scoobies may not be as well builts but its has so much character and driver apeal imho .
that just my experience and i know alot of fellow scoobynetter feels the same ( ask john Banks).
oh and the V8 is great if you've not sample better ....but for me the V10 in my old E60 M5 is miles better !!!
after the first few weeks with my E90 M3 , I thought to myself "you've made a big mistake p/xing the M5 for E90 M3" !!!!!, but after one year of ownership it has grown on me abit...but still miss my M5

The M3 is like an Onion, it has many layers and as you peel one off there is something new underneath. It's a very accomplished car and if you find it boring then turn off the driving aids and she if that gives you a grin. As bighead said it can seem a little boring at first but it's many layers can be deceiving, it's a stunning car.

You chaps and your tough car choices. I'll just have to make do with my "tin pot one trick" Hawk Type 20, as you once had I do believe, or v similar.
Oh, and it does perform it's one trick very well.
E90 M3 if I had the money, but if the RS5 was as good in it's time as the RS4 that would be at the top of the list. How much are the last (2007?) of the RS4s going for now on ave miles? £20K?

Not this year mate
I just bought a Honda Accord Tourer ES GT for the Mrs this week
Iv spent a bit of money on my JDM Blob Sti since I bought it this year so will keep it a while longer. Though when I do replace it, its going to be a tough decision between a E92 M3 or JDM Sti Hatch. Though wishful thinking scenario in a years time would be sterling / yen exchange rates improve & I can get hold of a JDM Sti saloon

Something left of left field:
e.g. BMW 2006/7 E90 335i with sub 40k miles for £13k to £14k, chuck a under a couple of thousand £'s on an Exhaust system, FMIC & Map & they can outrun an E90 M3 in a straight line, but thats about it!
