you guys know exactly what we need extra if one was to buy another Pioneer, i was going to plump for the 930BT but for 500 quid more i can get the AVIC F30 BTtheir top one.

Im just dubios as ive no idea what else i need to buy to get the usb armrest crap going any1 any ideas ? codes or such like

I am on my 3rd 2.5 and not one has gone bang yet

 

Take it back to your dealer. Sounds very much like its not connected properly. All the buttons worked fine with my original 320r sat nav unit so it should in yours too. Also the sat nav location was fine. I believe there is a number of connection boxes that must be correctly connected to the head unit for everything to work.

 

what a hatch or saloon 2.5 ?

 

thanks henny, they are on the case, with a few issues to sort out
1. the radio controls
2. broken trim by windscreen
3. the greasy crap on the engine big issue

The replacement USB/AUX socket and short adapter lead required to connect it to the USB/AUX cable supplied with the SatNav, comes in the "Subaru fitting kit", didn't have a part number on it's bag so it could be either Subaru or Pioneer supply, but as everything else was of Pioneer origin, I would think that was as well.

Ask Steve when you are at Coleshill, he may even be prepared to sell you the complete fitting kit .

It knows your on a road. Mine would think I am in a field a couple of miles away. Mine definately is going back.

Has anyone worked out how to change the warning distance for speed cameras. If mine is working (knows where I am) I get about 20 yards warning for a 60mph Trevelo - too late if I was using the gas!

 

Anyone know how to put speed camera alerts on

 

You need the NavGate Feeds software and the Free Safety Camera Subscription (POIBase ) from Pioneer...................

All fine and dandy but can you change the warning distance - or is it just cos my satnav is stuggling to locate me. I am sticking with my road angel for now.

 

Go to a known quite cross road. Recalibrate the sat nav and you pick/set your location on the cross roads.

 

What's power vs weight on the 320R ... is it 320hp

Great pics, stunning car. See that you have keyless ignition, is that standard in the Uk model. My ozzie one has key start plus headrests are different [though I do get a mahoosive rear spoiler ]
