That's very kind, please do pass on my thanks. The lad's name is Jake though - hope it's not too late?

There's a few from Scoobynet coming along (as well as a number of other forums) - my concern isn't what forum people use, just that we all make Jake's day the absolute best it can be so the more the merrier!

That's right, we will be starting the convoy from Exeter services at 08:00 on Sunday 17th

Full details of the convoy route and locations can be found here: http://forums.sidc.co.uk/topic/15576...9#entry1419919

Thanks again everyone for you kind wishes, support and donations - this really is going to be epic and I've no doubt whatsoever that it'll blow Jake's mind!

As I said in the OP, I'm not concerned about what club people usually affiliate themselves with but what I'm not keen to see is this turn into a marketing exercise for any one club. The day is about Jake and him having the most incredible day possible, not how many stickers you can get in front of the media.

Apologies if that comes across as a little harsh but it's rare that we all get opportunity to come together regardless of club affiliation and do something that really makes a difference to someone's life. Lets keep the ball rolling with this and really make it something special eh!

I totally understand that, I didn't mean I wanted a huge banner or anything just a small sticker but its too late for postage now really. Its going to be an amazing day and I can't wait to see the jakes face!! Getting my wheel bearing and cv joint done today specially as they're on the way out haha! See you sunday in exeter!! :d

decided today we are going , can't think of a better way to spend a sunday, these cars are all about smiles per mile , so 150miles for me is worth one massive smile , i see this as karma and my way of repaying all the lovely people on here who helped me get my dan a new bike after his was stolen

A good day out for those who went. Little Jake's face was a picture when he saw all the cars. A TV crew was also there, I'm not sure but it may have been BBC's Spotlight for those in the South West. I'll be watching later to see if I can spot myself and the scoob.
