Totally applaud NUFC for the way they played last night, highh tempo in our faces constantly by far the better team.
Had Tiote been playing for United last night I think the scoreline may have been different, he'd fill one hole in our midfield and Sneijder the other.
Rooneys first touch was sh1te all night.
We're losing the ability to win ugly, we just get beat when we play like that now, no leaders on the pitch last night, Jones has leader written all over him but needs more experience before he gets a sniff of that armband.
Very similar to last season in the respect to, how the hell do we have so many points .

Hole in the midfield is the word - there was one moment in the first half that spoke volumes where a Toon player (Tiote I think) got the ball in midfield looked up and there was no one in a red shirt within about 30 yards of him- Giggs was upfield somewhere / Carrick was a 3rd Centre half and Nani and Park were on their touchlines. It looked like he almost stopped in surprise at the sheer amount of space around him.
Well played Toon, you deserved it.
Trouble is that last season is was a competition to be the least bad team in the league which we scraped, but this year could be a whole lot different.

I think you are where you are at the minute - and the same can be said for last season because teams turn up and give you too much respect. You shouldnt be a team to be feared in my opinion but time and again teams turn up thinking, this is Manchester United, big stage and all that. Fair play though, you have earnt the reputation but now youre living on it and its only a matter of time before clubs start to realise this unless you rectify it quickly

We seem to be turning into the new Chelsea - cant get a win for sh*t. I knew it was gonna be a poor result when the sky commentators started say how good our away form was this season.
We looked devoid of a decent first touch across the team and no ideas going forward - newcastle pressured us and most just panicked and gave the ball away far too cheaply. Other than Simpsons goal line clearance and Nani's scuffed shot into Krul's arms I cant recall any other attempts on goal.
Evra seems to be getting slower with every game and team are seeing this and exploiting this.
Could have been 4-0 as Rio was a lucky boy with the penalty claim. Giggs was running around like a madman and I thought he was gonna get himself sent off. Probably got one eye on Natasha Giggs about to publicise her story all over "Celebrity" Big Brother. I wouldnt worry too much as no one actually watches Channel 5. Not until our Europa League match anyway :-)

Haha this made me chuckle - mate at work who is a Season Ticket holder at OT got a call last night from Utd offering him 4 tickets as apparently City havent been able to sell their own allocation.

Isnt the truth more like City held back some seats because they originally only sold United 11% of the seating allocation because thats all you ever give to the away fans in the FAC so theyre just annoying you on purpose. Youve obviously thrown a paddy about it because you want the 15% that every club in the country has to offer (expect you lot, what a surprise). City knew they wouldnt get away with only selling the 11% so didnt sell the remaining 4%, just held them back.

Fergie goes back to the future. Rumour mill says he's looking for Cantona's phone number next.

Liquid Sunday lunch today is it?
Desperate move IMHO. Are you seriously telling me you'd prefer Scholes over Sneijder?
Your midfield is ****e, everyone knows it. This is a desperate move by a manager looking at his legacy slipping away.

Backed City to win 3-1, would be nice to make some money from our impending defeat

Well, the league WAS up for grabs until Man Utd lost the mental battle, but both clubs have two national competitions to concentrate on. City have the league and a total of three matches in the Carling Cup if they win it. Man Utd have the league and five matches in the FA Cup to win it, nonwithstanding replays. So United have a lot more to concentrate on. Ergo, it does stand up.
