The 2011-2012 Man United Thread
Anybody want a ticket for United v Athletic Bilbao this Thursday 8th March, I'm unable to go to the match and as they have moved us due to closing a few of the stands I have an actual ticket to post (usually just use our season ticket).
I know it's not the for sale section but thought in here might be better as well. I only want face value £32 and I'll post for free signed for. Kick off 8.05pm.

Yeah 2 quality goals but too quiet in many games. 1st half was pretty poor but Spurs didnt boss it as much as the commentators made out. Shocking marking for Rooneys goal.
2 big losses on the trot. Arsenal fans must be rubbing their hands.

woeful woeful display.
Other than Spurs and City everyone else in the Prem is going backwards and we were shown up something rotten last night, defending from Rafael was outrageous, I'm not sure the twins are the answer to our long term left and right back positions.

Got what we asked for really. Our only saving grace is despite letting in three goals De Gea has suddenly hit a little form.
Could so easily be a season where Liverpool have won more trophies than us *shudder*.
Need to firm up that defence and invest through the summer to have any chance next season of competing in europe. Much the same as Chelsea and Arsenal. That is of course if Man City leave us any players to buy once they have had their lions share!

Cracking game - which I was at in the VIP suite
Alas, due to all the "free" drink, I was feeling unwell this morning
The roar from the crowd after Swansea scored was unreal

Shame, I always wanted him to succeed but it never quite happened. On his day he was absolute quality and I loved watching him play, somehow United just wasn't the club for him.

I think they saved themselves until they came up against LFC

Very lacklustre performance. Good posession early on but achieved very little penetration with it. Sloppy play giving the ball away far too cheaply.
And yep deffo was a penalty. Only thing I can think is that the change in direction of the ball when it bounced off murphys foot made it appear that Carrick got his foot to it. First replay I thought Carrick did actually get it but on 2nd clearly saw he hadnt.
I thoroughly enjoyed the commentary from Le Tiss. Kept Alan Parry in check especially when he was saying Giggsys slide tackle wasnt bad enough for a booking when it was clear as day.

Defo was a pen for the tackle on Murphy, likewise there was a pen in the first half for handball by Fulham, also not given but strangely not dicussed by the media. Mr Jol was right Pens aren't given at OT, for either side Martin
