Could've been easier, Arsenal slightly tougher?

So, Cahill transfer fee agreed, but miles apart on personal terms, hope he's not asking too much. Though if the fee agreed is £7million that's pretty good for an England player these days.
I wish AVB would have a damn good cough and clear his throat before he gives an interview!!

The defending for Villa's goal's was shocking. These are meant to be world class defenders.Paulo Ferreira beaten twice for the first goal,JT could have been sent off twice,Luiz at fault for the second and Lamps shocking pass for the third.Villa also could have had two pens.
We got some BIG problems. If I was Chelsea I would just pay what ever Cahill wants and get him signed.
The other problem is Chelsea don't make many chances. How can Torres get goals with the service he's gets.

Oh no it isn't http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16441249.stm
Pertinent quotes from Lord Fergie below:
"What do you do? Do you take a second-rate player? No, of course you don't."
"I would rather stick with the ones I have got than bring someone in who ends up not having a game anyway because they are not good enough."
:P

True - he probably can't wait to get battered by Ronnie/Real Madrid.
Still, I seem to remember you were totting up all your CL trophies that he/Chelski have won - not sure if you've got there yet?

I'm sure he'd take that rather than playing against those European giants Plzen
I got to 5 or 6 then lost count

So, the Cahill deal seems to be done. Wouldn't have minded it falling through if his wage and signing on fee demands were true!
£7million not bad for an English player, and if we get our money back on Alex moving, then it's one of our better bits of transfer dealings.
Maybe Luiz moving into a defensive midfield role, or right back and Bosingwa not playing ever again!
