Just do as you are told.

This method cured a guy that had hicups for 3months.

Have you tried drinking a glass of water backwards?
You need to explain that last bit!

Drink a couple of tablespoons of vinegar. The vinegar will stop your diaphragm from going into spasm.

Never failed me yet!

Instead of drinking from the glass as you normally would, by tipping your head backwards and drinking from the side nearest you, hold the glass under your chin and drink from the opposite side (so your chin is almost in the water).

Well after 8 days, over 200,000 hiccups it looks like they finally went last night.
Still get the occasional one but so far this morning they have stayed away for at least an hour so finger crossed. I pity anyone who get this, it is simply one of the worst things you can have.

Thank God for that! Maybe Zoe can get some sleep now!

Glad they've gone though.

Oh I see...I think I would have to be three parts under the influence to be able to manage that! I was imagining having to stand on my head to do it though!

Really glad to hear it Swiss, I can well imagine how unpleasant that was. Hope it all goes away soon anyway.

I'd say AIDS is probably worse.

Maybe I should have qualified that, the worst thing for a normally healthy male.

That's exactly what I do. I find that A pint of water is the best for immediate effect. I drink it through a straw and don't breathe until I have finished the whole pint. Never failed me. I hope something as simple as this helps you out.
Good Luck
