A work in progress, carbon wrapped switch panel came out ok for a first time, will be wrapping all the center. Also going to trim and wrap the pod, anyone else had trouble with pods not fitting right?, it wasn't a cheap one either. Getting ready for my date with the JGM

Looking into buying the switches before I get my alcatek fitted and mapped but can't make up my mind on what I need. I will be having a high/low boost map, meth/vpower map, anitlag and lunch control. Do I need 2 position on/off switches or 2 position on/on 3 terminal switches and how many switches, 4 I take it?

up until recently you could only have two maps on an alcatek.. so you couldnt do low boost, high boost and 2 fuels.. but there is now the 8 map option......
launch control is best left on the neutral position switch.. ie. you are stationary and in gear it is on.. you never need to rev higher in that situation if its set up right..
so ALS switch and 8 position switch

Syvecs 8-position switch will do the job perfectly...except it doesn't plug in to the green test connectors and will have to be spliced in to whatever pin AlcaTek define for the CAL switch.
(FYI the green test connectors are used for the clutch switch needed for full-throttle gear changes.)

Quick question - is it possible to have a map where the turbo isn't used, or comes in really hight at say 4k rpm. Was thinking about this whilst driving (stop starting) through London.
Also, can you have a map purely for economy where the minimal amount possible for fuel is used. Would make performance cars a lot more viable if you could switch to an eco setting for town driving and the turn it to full wack for the bit of B road on your journey.
