Driving home this evening on the A41 north in a rush and a silver classic wagon joined at berko I was seriously motoring at this point but i noticed the headlights keeping up so slowed to let it pass, took turns blasting past each other until I turned off at Aston Clinton. Silver classic had blue hids and a massive exhaust, I was in a blue bugeye.

Hi Steve. The crows nest have out priced themselfs and took alot of the cheaper food off the menu. The msoc meets always draw good numbers and fueltopia have a meet each month at the ace.

Think the idea is something local, I'm not driving to London to meet people from tring. I'm not going for a 3 course meal at the pub, may have a pint and talk about scoobys until everyone is bored, so price not too important really.

LOL.

I normally keep talking crap about cars until Mrs BrownPants gets bored and drags me away!

Shall we set a date for a Tring/Aylesbury/Berko/Hemel etc scooby meet then? Say a Saturday or Sunday some time at the Crows Nest? What suits people best?

See you all the time, I used to drive the green GL turbo replica , you followed me a couple of times down mill lane !

Recently sold the GL to my bro and am riding the white honda fireblade around till tomorrow morning as i finally got a turbo 2000 in green.

I am easy..... perhaps better re-phrase that. I am pretty flexible with regards to when, whatever fits in with other people.

I'm liking the sound of this Crows Nest meet! I've always thought there aren't any meets that aren't stupidly far away. As long as you aren't all a bunch of loonies I'll be down for that.

It seems Aylesbury is Mecca for Scoobies, I've seen so, so many around there. Get a few waves but I don't think people tend to notice as I don't have a scoop or anything (Hawkeye Sport).

I do remember seeing a girl in an STi though.. a couple of times around Aylesbury. In fact.. it just occurred to me I let a girl out of "Parton Road" in Aylesbury. It has a Blockbuster and a Co Op down there. Unfortunately it was several months ago, prior to my scooby ownership so I was in a Black Seat Ibiza. I let you out 80% because you were driving a Scooby, 20% because you were a girl driving a scooby! .

Very good point. If petrol prices keep going up, won't be long till it's a quid a mile .

There was a black hawkeye behind me on the A41 last night, between Berko (where I got on) and Hemel (where you got off). I had a red van up my **** at one point.

Anyone here?

I'd love to arrange something. Unfortunately I'm the most un-organised person ever, so probably shouldn't be me. If nothing happens though I'll set something up. Would be awesome to have a monthly meet.

On a related note.. roughly 10 months ago I saw this bad boy in Adams Garage showroom! I was a Scooby-nooby at the time so I had no idea the speciality of what I was looking at! But I took a picture..
