You might have been spotted .....
I waved at a dark (black or dark grey) hatch but got no response.
Cheers, Ian.

Oops! Sorry, Ian......only just spotted this!
No, it wasn't me.......which is why you didn't get a response. I do work in Berko though.

The problem with waving and not getting a response is that you feel such a fool.
I can just imagine them sitting there thinking "Whats that idiot waving at me for"
These days I find myself waiting until the last moment to see if the pilot of another scooby waves first.
The general rule seems to be the older the car and the younger the pilot the more likely they are to acknowledge a wave. Except for me of course ;-) - I'm in a stealth 320R and getting on a bit, but I still do it.

No problem, I thought it might not be a fellow Scoobynetter due to the lack of a wave.

If I wave, and they don't wave back, (happens more often now), I sort of pretend I was just flexing my hand! Oh, and I'm cracking on a bit as well.........
You might have seen my old yellow classic around before.......harder to miss than my hatch. What colour is yours? (There's a typical girly question, if EVER there was one!)

I've been driving a scooby of one form or another (I'm on my 7th) around the Hemel area for over 15 years and never been spotted.
I do remember seeing a bright yellow sport around the area once or twice.

Yep, a bloke would have asked what BHP it was. Its black - like I said - stealth (no spoilers, no splitters, no gold wheels, no badges).

Yeah, that was probably me.......yellow Sport Special. Had it for 9 years, and our mate's son has it now (still local). Makes me want to cry every time I see it. Doesn't look after it like I did. I loved that car.
Mine doesn't have any crap on it either. Just black. With nice Pro-drive wheels.

whoop whoop just seen this, most probably was me as I am on that bit of road twice a day :-) I am young and get a fair amount of attention from builders and the like so I assume fairly attractive!

Lol, I am probably just deluding myself, there will be me strutting past the local building site thinking "damn I have scrubbed up well today", revelling in their whistles and obscene gestures not realising there is some 18 year old blonde hot cake walking 10ft behind me

Yay get it sorted! Need the option of actually talking to people who care less when I am whittering on about my car, my best friend tries bless her but I think she is close the bludgeoning me any day now. Although she did tell me that in Polish Impreza means party. So there you go, tedious fact of the day....
