Rallyfest - Anyone going?
fair play it was friggin roasting!!!
wasnt a bad show, would have been nice to see a stage being run around the showground but not to worry, that fella standing on the roof doing donuts on the gravel in that car, whatever it was cant remember, was bloody impressive!!
drive home was a bit boring as i had no company!!
nice to catch up with everybody for a chat, looking forward to day two of my rally weekend going up to epynt tomorrow for the rally up there, cant fault it!

Was an epic drive up there to be fair, well apart from me nearly trying to wipe out a Van full of Squaddies lol.
Better to brake hard as the road curved away so I couldn`t see, than overtake on a blind bend and have a massive one lol.
Have a few pics from today I`ll stick up in a bit.

Here`s a vid of the journey through upper and lower church please ignore the voices in the back ground, and excuse the shakes as the camera was being held in the hand and not fixed to the dash

I was following Dylan and Rich and around the first cattle grid I had 4 wheel lift off and then came hammering up behind you closely following Rich, I was gonna go behind Rich as he overtook but a Red car pulled out, then I was stuck behind a green wagon and a red car and couldn`t get past lol.
The best part of the drive was following Rich over the Sugarloaf what an awesome drive that was, I remembered after the first few bends Rich has stupidly wide tyres, and my little 16`s were doing their best. We left the Pulsar for dead
all in all was an epic drive till I was behind the safety car

Clear veiw of the road ahead to allow a safe overtake, no oncoming traffic for approx 1 mile, only overtook one car on double whites and that was when ozz slowed down and indicated for me to pass because he had that breif problem that cleared once i'd passed him, is'nt that rite Ozz

I agree with Jarvis, thought the show was average at best.
I saw the fleet of SWS Scoobs in the car park but didn't see you guys around the show (which is surprising as it was a small area).
I didn't stay too long as once you've seen an ex-sainz focus doing 20 mph twice in 15 minutes the novelty kind of wears off. Far better to watch a real rally in the forests or up in Epynt, far more spectacular.
Glad I didn't get up early to "get some air" with you guys in the way up. I drove up via Upper Chappel and there's some cracking roads near the ranges, fair play.
