Rallyfest - Anyone going?
(the early bird catches the worm)
Right guys who's going from glynneath McDonalds 8am? I think I'm still picking si up on way through. Or are we just going to make our own way to meet in brecon? Rob how are you getting there, fixed your car yet?
by the time we all meet up have a bit of a chat it'll be about 9 before we leave don't know how many entrances there will be to get in don't want to be stuck in a queue for ages .we still got to join the main drag of traffic this side of the bridge in builth if it's a good turnout could be a busy bit of road

Rich I`ll be in Glyneath McDonalds with you now.
Was gonna meet you there but my mate from Lampeter is going later, so I`ll be meeting you there with my mate in a Pulsar GTiR.
As long as you don`t mind me getting a Sausage and Egg McMuffin before we leave there!!

seemingly there was an accident between a car and lorry at 8.30 am, and yet still we caught all the traffic at 12.30!! hour and a half later we had travelled a mere 5mile, and according to my transit the peak temp was around1.15pm at 31.9 degrees!!!coming home was the easy bit, lee from AI said we would have been better going via the first 7 bridge, was literally 10 minutes from it!!!you live and learn hey, christ i think we more than deserved our 1/4 pound burger meals from mac'd's on the way home!!Onto the car, wasnt too bad a job changing the driveshaft, pretty much disconnected every nut and bolt i could see, swapped him oover and put it all back together, some nuts (struts included) were ***** but they didnt beat my plumbing blowlamp and a 3foot length of steel pipe on the end of my ratchet!!! trickiest bit was getting the actual shaft back into the diff, fiddly and was stubbborn as its got to be hoofed past a circlip in the diff, my brother in laws 50oz hammer and piece of 2x1 batton came in handy for that little setback!!!
Took her for a spin to crickhowell for £66 quids worth of v-power and give her a rooting on the way home and she seems good, whats more my wheel hasnt dropped off either!!!

So TY, no i will NOT be your gimp tomorrow im sorry, you'll just have to find yourself a nice quiet shy village boy in builth tomorrow for you to 'dominate', i am rather concerned though i must admit at the wealth of knowledge you have on the said subject, is there something we should know??!have you been using your running in miles to visit the best 'doggin'' venues of wales and report your experiences on the 'gimp forum'??! either way im sure we will be enlightened tomorrow!!

Well it's funny you mention the gimp forums, as they all seemed to know Rob the sissy from Brecon.
They all reckoned you have been voted Mid Wales Gimp Of The Year 5 years on the trot.

Just had a text from a mate who tells me that the WRC teams have pulled out of the event
I've had a search on the net and there's a comment on this twitter feed http://twitter.com/#!/walesrallygb
