Everything is on course for the event at Stow Maries WW 1 Aerodrome, with 250 -300 interesting cars from many different clubs to view, as well as historic aircraft, vintage military vehicles, and a Harris hawk We will also have an F1 simulator a Ford GT 40, an RS 200 and 2 or 3 ex-F1 cars. Andy Prill, Hoyle-Fox and JD Classics will be providing displays, not to mention the display by our principal sponsor, Porsche Centre Colchester. The hog roast, barbeque, ice cream van, and liquid refreshment tents are all confirmed, as well as a some trade stands.
An enormous amount of preparation has gone into this event, and so what we need to make it a success is for you and your members to come along to help make the variety of cars on show as wide as possible. I thank those who have given an indication of their club members attending and please extend the invitation to family and friends.
The entrance fee will be £5 per person, children under 16 free, but it will be cash on the gate only. A proportion of the entrance fee will be donated to a breast cancer charity and the Essex Air Ambulance.
