Right then, but of a wee update, this one is about Turbo choice!!

With Xmas out the way, I set about sourcing my turbo setup! The Blouch Dominator I was going for was gonna be a pain in the **** to get imported, the import tax is just stupid!
I found a Garrett GT35/42 that Bigarf was selling and bought it, and will be buying Gus's Rotated kit BUT a change of plan has hit me

After a long chat with Frayz and realising that having 600bhp in a Classic without a cage will be ridiculous! Also, that with paying nigh on £2k for heads ported and new cams would just put my budget through the roof!! So, with that, I spoke to Martyn @ EngineTuner and have struck a deal with him and his S206 setup more than happy with that as I loved the way it spooled up in my old 2.1 Blob

So, my 500bhp target will be achievable with this setup and possibly a splash of meth

You are changing plans like we are, from 20G we are went with MD321S to Blouch Dom 3.0XT-R to MDX321T and later we are almost went with GT30 .63AR rotated setup

S206 will be nice setup and i've seen on normal 2.1 with V4 heads and has been just amazing

Great turbo matey, this turbo has been on my card too,but we are went with MDX321T

Looking forward to see this project

The Classic one is two brackets whereas the Newage one is in one piece. I Would have thought the 2 front mounting holes would be different! I'll gladly fit one for you

Great choice Merv, i think the car will be much more enjoyable and useable at that level.

Id imagine i would need every bit of my 573bhp to keep with a 500 classic and even then it would be a struggle.

I'll be letting EngineTuner take car of all that but it'll be an EJ22t block with Wiseco 1mm oversized pistons (I think), standard V5 heads and cams! Rods, bearings, head studs will all be down to ET but they know what I'm like so they will sort that out just need to get saving lol

Yes mate, getting Martyn's S206 which is having a Billet wheel installe at the moment an a cutback turbine which effectively makes it an S215 should be very good with the 2.35

Cheers Banny, will do that! The engine is pretty much squared away with EngineTuner building it! I've got a few more bits to get-

Deatschwerks fuel pump and holder
Fuel swirl pot (RCM one via Advanced Automotives)
Oil catch can
Rad/fans
Pulleys
Battery relocation kit for the boot

There's a few bits
