It's a shame how society is just to caught up in their own **** to actually stop and take a note of what is actually going on. This has all been engineered by great/evil minds so I guess it hard for the average man to compete with such inteligence.

just hope there arent to many kidnappings and televised beheadings by his sympathisers as a result of this.
I think even if he'd been taken alive there would be threats of reprisals of a similar nature. Its not over by a long way.
Just feel for everyone thats lost a loved one because of this guy and that includes the familys of kids radicalised by his lot.

Defence spending is spiralling out of control in the US. We are having to stand 'shoulder to shoulder' with them even though we are skint too. The Taliban were allegedly hiding and protecting him which is why we went there, not to fight the Taliban. Now with him out of the picture what's the odds we start pulling troops out of there. I just hope we don't send them elsewhere like Lybia, after all there is oil there!

I read a short while ago that if he was killed it would be the start of a virulent campaign by Al Qaeda against the West. Even up to detonating hidden nukes!

Well, I have mixed feelings about this. I have nothing positive to say about Bin Laden, but I feel no happiness that he is dead. Another human life gone, from yet another fire fight, done by Americans operating in another country.
It just does not feel quite "right".
