I agree with the OP, if there's one thing this country does best it's state events, and it makes you proud to be British, history in the making whether you like the monarchy or not!

I bet Brown & Blair were spitting feathers that their masterplan to rid us of British patriotism and love of the Monarchy appears to have failed.
