That's even worse then, you don't even know why you included the quotes.

tbh -- I’ll tell you where I am on this TDW

I am pretty white and pretty middle class -- and hence I have the luxury of viewing your posts with a mixture of feint amusement, bewilderment and genuine sadness and pathos

You have obviously had a tough damaged childhood

But if I was black, brown (and any colour in between) or a Muslim – I would have outed you as a racist cvnt a while ago.

You don't even know what racism is or you wouldn't believe that posts including racial themes are necessarily racist.

I have an Accurist worldtime, (Citizen navtimer) by any other name,

Watch was advertised as a rugged sailing, flying, sporting watch...

except it couldn't handle a drop of 24 inches onto a wooden floor..

(Byebye lcd windows)... contacted Accurist who wanted .....£150 odd for a new mechanism - lcd unit....

The whole watch only cost £200!!!

suffice to say its sitting in a drawer with a dark lcd

all we need now is JT posting that due to the "liberal media consensus" racists can't be racist without being accused of racism

then a thread lock -- and we can all go to bed

I'm getting tired of your demagoguery mate. You keep saying I am a racist with no proof other than quotes which touch on racial/national themes....which you use to imply I am a racist.

It's dishonest.

To be honest when I bought it I presumed paying a fair bit for it ,I would be getting a fairly accurate watch .

It has been very hardwearing because it has been in all sorts of action etc but the time keeping which is why I buy a watch has been slightly poor .Although it does look very nice even now after all this time .

Out of interst, have you tried manually winding it to maximize its reserves?

From what I can gather, its worth manually winding them up to the max to get the mechanism at its best and then let the auto keep it topped up. Worth a thought.

Most auto watches can be wound manually..

Pull out the crown to position one and wind as normal. Lockable crowns sometimes just need to be in the unlocked position to wind.
Depends on watch,model and movement...

You cant overwind an auto movement so dont be scared of trying to wind it. The mainspring is wound by the central arbor, but its not rigidly attached to the outer barrel. There is a clutch/detent on the barrel to let the mainspring "slip" if an overwind is attempted.

Yes, you can wind most auto watches. In fact, I dont recall ever owning one that you cant wind, including my current Breitling Blackbird.
